Is Damon Salvatore capable of love with a (gulp!).... human being?
According to Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec, the answer is yes. Slowly. Eventually. She recently told Entertainment Weekly:
“We’ll see Damon start to look at Elena as more than just his brother’s girlfriend or the doppelganger to the love of his life. He’ll start to love and understand her as a human being, which is ironic because Damon could typically give a s–t about anything involving humanity. It’s some good stuff.”
We can't wait for it. The show comes back with a new episode on March 25, but fans can get a look at Vampire Diaries spoilers right now in anticipation of this return.

Comment above saying about teenagers thinking is ok to date murderers??? WTF? This is a show about vampires. You probably would not want teenegers believing that vampires exist, do you? These 'intelligent' teens should avoid watching the show all together just in case.

thats okay, it awould make a great story line of they begin an affair, but i want him to be with BONNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
