There are two developments this week on Desperate Housewives, one funny/tragic, the other controversial/hot.

First, Tom and Lynette forget their daughter's birthday. And, as seen below, they fail miserably in their attempts to cover up the faux pas:

Second, many fans of the show aren't excited that Katherine is involved in yet another outlandish storyline. As outlined in our section of Desperate Housewives spoilers, this one revolves around Julie Benz's stripper, Robin, and the relationship she and Katherine embark on.

We can understand the complaints. But when we see the following clip, we simply don't care. Yowza...
