Jacob did visit Locke before going to the island. When Locke was thrown out a window, Jacob was sitting on a bench waiting for him.

Well, one of the requirements for getting back to the island was that EVERYONE should get back, including Locke's dead body. That reminded me about Christian's dead body arriving to the island in a coffin too, so I think its very possible that Smokey was possesing the corpses (which will also be a demon-like thing). I think Smokey played Locke all the time. (Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember Jacob visiting Locke before going into the Island).

After watching the show I was pretty dissapointed. I think they wasted a lot of time on things that were not important to the main story, like 'digging up' Juliet (whom I'll miss), and Sayid, but still I think this Last Season will get better. I consider Lost to be the best TV Show I've ever watched.
I can't wait to know the meaning of the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42. I read somewhere it was an equation, but I want be certain, learning it from the show.

"Desmond was a passenger on flight 815."
I thought it was obvious that Desmond "flashed" there. Although the plane was mid-flight, he was looking for a seat (because he didn't have one already) and he was suddenly there, then suddenly gone, without a trace. So even though the timeline is different in this reality, and Desmond wasn't in the hatch (because the island was on the bottom of the ocean), Des is still experiencing his flashes.

You are right, Remember on S5 Finale when Ilana and her group were caring that box with John body, they went by the cabin and it was empty then she said “looks like someone else have been using it or something like that” that was smoky using Jacob cabin back then so Yes smoky might used Christian form or something.

Question, isn't it impossible for smokey to have been christian, at least in the cabin? Because when they originally went to "Jacob's cabin" way back when, there was a circle of ash around the cabin, therefore, the demon couldn't get in, Right?

We spent the whole premiere saying, "WTF!" My husband, who hasn't watched Lost since 2 seasons ago said, "Isn't this the season where they're supposed to answer questions, not present more questions?" It was fun, and confusing, but that should mean it's going to be a good season. I'm not so sure about the parallel flashes, but I'm willing to ride it out to the end. I don't need every question answered, but I would like there to be good storytelling. I think Sayid is Jacob and I think Terry O'Quinn did a fantastic job. Love him. Miss the real Locke. Hated fake Locke making fun of him. Loved Sawyer in this episode too and will definitely miss Juliet.

I don't think Smokey wants to go to the temple. He said John wanted to stay on the island but that he didn't He wanted to go home.
I also think that there might be some religious aspect to this now. The Others were trying to use circles of ash to potect themselves. In certain lore, a circle will protect one from a demon. Perhaps that was is what Smokey is.

dont get me wrong i really like lost but im always wondering what the hell are the writers thinking when they write?? i mean god its some of the craziest crap i have ever seen and so twisted but thats prob why i love it so much im so mad juliet died.. well in one reality anyways

This was a very good premier the wait was worth it, and I agree with the review I feel like we are in the same page. “We’ll take a moment to mourn Juliet and Locke - who are both truly, finally dead” Very SAD I liked both of them and Jacob.
I think fake Lock took Richard because it might help him go back home ‘the temple’ UGH this freaking show is so good.

THEORY: The 815 timeline is the finale! Just like in season 4 we watched them getting rescued all season while also watching the lead up to the rescue on the island. Now we are seeing that they get off the island and dont know each other anymore but the island scenes are the ones leading up to whatever happened that gets them back on that plane in 2003...god i hope that made sense to someone besides me.
