A lot of big names have signed on for new projects that will debut this fall. Let's take a look at the most recent pilot casting news...
- Katee Sackhoff (pictured) will play a detective who works with an ex-cop on an untitled ABC crime drama. Does this mean her character of Dana Walsh will be killed off 24 before the season ends? Let's hope so.
- Former Desperate Housewives star Neal McDonough will play the imprisoned husband of Virginia Madsen on Scoundrels, an ABC drama that features the latter's character putting her family of criminals on an honest path.
- Love will bite for Becki Newton, as the Ugly Betty actress has signed on for the role of Amanda Tanen on the NBC sitcom Love Bites. It revolves around various relationship scenarios. Newton's character will be a social worker and a virgin.
- Sean Faris, who was just killed off The Vampire Diaries, will portray the leading man on The CW's The Wyoming Project. From Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino., the drama will follow around Faris' horse trainer character, who must care for his three younger sisters after their parents die.
