Adam Scott Speaks on Parks and Recreation Role

For a show that's been a critical hit in season two, and seen its ratings reflect this improvement, Parks and Recreation is still shaking up its cast.

The NBC sitcom is bringing a couple big names on board in recurring roles: Rob Lowe and Adam Scott.

In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, the former Party Down star confirms "I'm coming in for the last couple episodes of this season, and then for season three I will be a regular."

Will he really be starting a romance with Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope.

"Yes, I think I'm going to be getting a lot of screen time with Amy, which is great," he said. "When I start, I'm not a part of the government agency. I'm an outsider. But I think there's potential for that to change."

Incredibly, Scott provided a couple Lost spoilers during this chat. Friends with Sonya Walger, he said she was recently in Hawaii, shooting scenes as Desmond's wife, Penny.

"The last time I spoke with her she was actually in Hawaii shooting. I'm such geek for Lost, so I always have to stop her from telling me what she's doing."

Leslie: I know you're not gay.
Tom: No, I'm not.
Leslie: But you're effeminate.
Tom: What?
Leslie: Well, you're wearing a peach shirt with a coiled snake on it.
Tom: That's because it was featured in Details magazine, and it's awesome.

Look, Tammy and I don't work. We are oil and water. Or oil and TNT and C4 and a detonator and a butane torch.
