WOW, thats horrible! Izzie being my total favorite character, I think Grey's might be alot wore for me. As for Izzie's exit, it would be lame for Alex to never hear from her again. Maybe he'll find a sucicide note from her or something. :(

Shes been trying to get out of her contract for 3 years? back when she was disputing getting paid less than the other actors? If she wanted out....she'd have just gotten out then when they were renewing her contract....Some things just dont add up........ IT seems like greys is trying to hard to be the "victim" in this situation when its clear both parties are responsible for the fall out.

Wow, I love Izzie. She is (was?) one of my favourite characters,but c'mon if you ask me Katherine Heigl is being childish about this "they wouldn't return her calls" well then she should've shown up anyway go on the day that was planed at the time she would usually go before she left on maternity seeing that she's one of the main characters she would've been okay going without notice or hey! she's friends with the cast call them.
As for her leave I think they might just kill her off. Not to be mean or anything, but I think that maybe her cancer will come back and well see season 5 finale again* either that or some letter will come to Alex from her with like divorce papers or something and then that will be it...

I mean they handled it just fine when Alex blew her off and she left, so why are they bringing this up again?! :S
It would be just lame and POINTLESS if they brought her back to cut her off again don't u think?! I mean I love her and all, but come on, her character is great! No need to taint it just cause they're pissed at her or whatever. Things should be left just the way they are in my opinion...

They could let Izzie's mother bring Alex the divorce papers!!! That would be a nice reference to the Isaiah Washington's story: didn't Burke's mother come to SGH to say goodbye to Cristina at the beginning of season 4 when Washington couldn't come back? It's just a thought...

I'm not an Izze's fan i 'm a great Mer's fan,but i'm so sorry for all those love her character.About to Heigl,i don't like as she has involved from my point of view if she wanted already to go for long time and then she continued to blame .She had everything that she asked ,i remember that she wins an Emmy thanks to Grey .I think that Shonda has removeda sizeable nuisance because by now say this airs herself as a great star.I say BYE-BYE HEIGL

That's the only thing I'm wondering because I am a big Lexzie fan. But I think what Grey's fan is right. She'll just send the divorce papers.
But that's a tad bit boring and they are not going to try to be boring. Maybe she will be in the episode with Alex's brother(?). o.o Though, how will the outcome be?
We'll have to see.

I think Katherine was very immature about the way she handled everything. the movies she's in aren't very good and if it weren't for Grey's, she wouldn't be anything. She could have been more thankfull is al im saying. With that said though, i am going to miss Izzie, and for her die-hard fans, I am sorry she is off the show. i think that the way she left was very big and the divorce thing will give alex some good screen time.

KH got what she wanted, now she can do her romantic movies. I feel sorry for Izzie's fans though! I will be sad and I guess will stop watching if Patrick or Ellen leave!
Btw 6x19's promo pics are out and there are alot pics with Meredith and Alex. Can't wait!

I aggree with Greys fan I think that the last episode that izzie was in when her and alex were talking in the break room that basically they were saying goodbye to eachother and going there seperate ways. So, I think now that they are going to have divorce papers sent to alex and he is going to sign them and it will be over. but, that he might have a hard time after and he will lean on gery and lil grey to get him through.

I think Katherine got what she wanted, her release from the show. I'm not the biggest Izzie fan, but I know she has a lot of fans, and I feel bad for those who are loosing their chacter.
As for how Izzie's exit will be handled, I think it already has been. I'm guessing Alex will get divorce papers delivered, he'll sign, and that will be it.
