Updating a report we shared with you last week, it looks like it's official now that Gossip Girl cast member Leighton Meester is a single lady once more.

A source close to the 24-year-old actress confirms to that she has broken up with actor and sometime co-star Sebastian Stan, her boyfriend since 2008.

"They are still friends," the source says. "It was amicable. They still talk all the time."

Sebastian Stan and Leighton Meester are no more.

Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan met on the set of Gossip Girl, and had been inseparable until recently. No particular reason has been mentioned for the split.

For Valentine's Day 2009, they enjoyed a couples' retreat with fellow Gossip Girl couple Jessica Szhor and Ed Westwick, also the current topic of breakup rumors.

Still no update on those two that we've come across.

Here's wishing Leighton and Sebastian the best as they move on. As for Carter Baizen, he begins yet another guest stint on the show this month. Awkward!
