Major Vampire Diaries Spoilers: May Sweeps, Season Finale Scoop!
On tonight's episode of The Vampire Diaries, Damon will escort Elena at the Miss Mystic Falls pageant; while Stefan will continue to battle with his human blood-induced demons.

As the television season enters May Sweeps, shows across the dial will ramp up the drama, suspense and storytelling. The Vampire Diaries is no different, as viewers can expect the following developments to take place over the next few weeks:
- Stefan and Damon finally reveal to Elena how they became vampires.
- Damon and Alaric partner up to stop Jonathan Gilbert, who is headed for a confrontation with Pearl.
- Elena's first meeting with her birth mother doesn't end well.
- As detailed by a CW press release: On the season finale, "Johnathan Gilbert sets a plan in motion that brings Founder’s Day to an end amid chaos, destruction and death."

I think the shock on their faces is because they see Katherine and Damon together, and that's why Elena 's like "WTF?" and Stefan is more like "Oh HELL NO!"

I think the next person to die is going to be elena.....in the books after the towns celebration she dies...and she would be signed up for another season because she turns vampire....but as anyone who has read the books knows the books are very different.

it cant be jeremy cause on imdb it says he still has contract for the second season since his name is there through 2011 , i really think its anna though then again pearl died in the last episode and Alaric is on the show through the next season so it can only be anna cause she is the only one not listed for season 2

I WANT TO KNOW WHO DIES SO BADLY. I REALLY DONT WANT IT TO BE JEREMY, MATT OR ALARIC. IT WOULD BE REALLY SAD. I DONT THINK THAT THEY WILL KIL JEREMY BECAUSE IT WOULD BE TO SAD FOR ELENA (and me). I THINK JENNA SHOULD BE THE ONE TO DIE BECAUSE SHE DOESNT REALLY HAVE A BIG PART IN THE SHOW OR THEY SHOULD KILL BONNIE AND HAVE HER SAVE STEFEN AND GIVE HER LIFE SO SHE CAN BE WITH HER GRAMS. IT WOULD BE SAD THOUGH. I THINK JOHN GILBERTS PLAN HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH VAMPIRES. CANT WAIT!!!

I think Tyler's dads going to die because in the season finales description it says the whole town is going to grief over a death and i think they mean the Mayor.

In the books, which are obviously different from the TV show, Katherine drinks and feeds on both of them. Then she makes them believe she died, by taking off her ring and staying in the sunlight because they faught over her so much. Damon in Stefan fight in a sword fight, and incidentally kill eachother.
How it happens in the TV show, I don't know. Probably trying to save her from the church, which she wasn't even in obviously! lol
