More Gossip Girl Sneak Previews: "The Unblairable Lightness of Being"

at . Comments

The first two Gossip Girl clips from this coming Monday's episode centered around Chuck and Blair and the fallout from the past week's epic "Inglorious Bassterds."

These next four are geared toward Dorota's upcoming wedding, the problem she has on her hands, and how Chuck (with Cyrus and Eleanor's help) plans to solve it.

Here's the first explanation of the nature of dear Dorota's dilemma ...

It looks like a Dorota-centric episode on our hands, with a fairly significant tie in to the ongoing Chair drama. How will everything play out? What do you think so far?

OMG blair and dan are going to get together! poor chuck

yay! love these clipssssss =]
i also love nair friendship!

i agree with nicole 100%. people can live with the fact that blair and chuck arent going to ALWAYS be together. its like if they break up for an episode everyone goes crazy. i feel like they should date other people and then in the end we all know chuck and blair will end up together. but damn its an episode chill out. like people are taking it sowhen lmfao there broken up for one god dang ep. they will be back later on. i like the break up they were getting a little boring. now there should be some drama:)

Yeah, I don't think Blair is at all unsure of his feelings for her; she's just massively hurt at the fact that he manipulated her, betrayed her trust and sold her out. They do horrible things to each other (granted, this is probably the worst) but there's never really been any doubt as to their feelings for one another. I don't think they see the two as being all that mutually inclusive, IMO. Also, Chuck and Blair are a really dark, complex couple, and a lot of their hidden layers and motivations become clearer in hindsight. I don't think having Nate do something like punch Chuck is going to add to that. That's just petty, snd it's not how Chuck's going to sort out his issues.

HDD was really smart in bringing up Blair tricking Chuck into kissing that guy and how it compares to what Chuck did, but to me those two things aren't too comparable. The only similarities I see between the two are that in both situations, both C and B were willing to do whatever the other wanted, but instead of being honest, they deceived each other. I think once they realize that they shouldn't try to manipulate one another, then they'll finally reach the level of maturity that will make for a functionl relationship.
Like a lot of other people, I'm glad that Blair didn't forgive Chuck, but I'm also glad that she's actually talking to him. Although she sounds completely defeated, I like that Blair isn't reverting back to a scorned little girl, she's acting how a woman who just got her heart stomped on acts except without a pint of ice cream.
And I also adore the fact that Chuck is actually there talking to her. When he tells her he loves her and that he's asking for her forgiveness (something I don't remember seeing him ever do before!), it just shows how much he really does care for her. Just the fact that he can say "I love you" so easily to her shows his depth of emotion, but sadly, he's going to have to really keep reminding her because what he did surely created a krakatoa-sized crater in her miind about the sincereity of his feelings.

OHH and i heard in a spoiler somewhere that in the finale Chuck is on the top of Empire State building (like Sleepless in Seattle & An Affair to remember :D)
It also says "Chuck raises the stakes for Blair" something like that
Does that sound like a proposal to anyone else or is that just me? Or something good, like a really BIG show of love?

Aawww The last clip is so cute. You can see Chuck really means what he is saying (and yeah he is being manipulative, but he's chuck bass) I'm glad that she said noo to his forgiveness AT THIS STAGE, but they should end up together, I can see he will do anything for her; but Serena said to chuck "Don't wait too long or she'll think you don't care", the same goes the other way for Blair.
I feel they'll get together soon but when and how is what we really want to know!

Good for Blair, she does NOT need to forgive him that easily. Chuck should know by now that Blair likes more than a half-hearted groveling.

write* I feel dumb now lol.

Gossip Girl

[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you.
