Private Practice Preview: "Second Choices"
In a bit of a confusing programming move, but a good one for Private Practice fans, the show features an all-new episode this week entitled "Second Choices."
Grey's Anatomy, however, is off until next week.
This was done by ABC to end Private Practice's third season a week early (May 13), clearing the way for a two-hour Grey's Anatomy sixth season finale May 20.
In any event, the doctors of Oceanside/Pacific are back this week, and "Second Choices" promises a whole host of interesting developments for the characters.
Violet returns from Costa Rica to find people treading lightly around her and lots of mixed feelings when it comes to her desire to start reconnecting with Lucas.
Amelia butts into Sam's life, noting that he can mend hearts in the OR but not his own (deep), while Sheldon encourages Charlotte to reconcile with Cooper.

Looks like a lot of things are set in motion this week as we build toward a dramatic season finale. If you haven't yet, share your theories on which character dies.

In a perfect tv land it's Naomi who dies, which will bring Sam and Addison together..and we can see Pete and Violet reunite :) I really hope we don't see Violet die.

OMG!!!! Poor,poor Addie, what a reaction! and by the way, I think it's about time someone gives Amy Brenneman an award for her Violet acting, she's a pure joy to watch:)

I wish Addison could be with Mark Sloan... really. I think he's the one for her. Not Sam, not Pete...
But Mark can be with Addie or Callie, both are perfect for him...

How touching, so it sounds like she went to a mental hospital, and she's finally letting it out and realizing what she's missing out. it really shows how awkward it is with pete and addi, and pete being a father, and addi who has grown attatched to the baby. Addi didn't even want to let go of him!
I"m not for pete/addison, I don't see the chemistry, from the beginning i did but they are just not right for each other. Funny thing is that I didn't like violet much til the end of last season with the crazy women ripping her stomach out, sick! Why do they always give Addi men who have a lot of baggage???

I love Amy Brenneman. She plays vulnerable, fragile, calm, down to earth, broken, and beautiful, all so well.

All I can say is "poor Addie!". Man, it never works out for her. I used to love Violet/Pete, but now... I wish Pete and Addie get together.

Kinda amazing how this sneak peak's been out for 4-5 days already and only now it ends up here. I was kinda hoping we'd see some new ones now (not that I don't LOVE this scene, cause I do, I've probably seen it about 150-200 times (especailly the "it's your mommy" moment!!!)
