Glee Spoilers: Emma to Move on From Will

by at . Comments

When we last left Emma and Will, the former had held her ground against the latter when it came to his, well, man-whoring ways.

It's been a couple weeks since Glee focused on this relationship, though, causing viewers to wonder where the duo stands. According to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, the answer is: What duo?!?

On the June 8 season finale, we'll learn that Emma has moved on from her dream man, at least for now. Who has she been secretly romancing? Her dentist!

Emma v. Will

"This is going to be a major character," says a source close to the series.

Emma's new man will officially show up next season, though the role has not yet been cast. With Neil Patrick Harris guest-starring this week, the pressure is on to come up with a significant name.

Got any suggestions?

Dear god, there are too many people to choose from...hmmm. As stated before, Masi Oka would be awesome. Although, I'm only saying that cause I thought him and her were my favorite couple on Heros. If not him, then Alessandro Juliani. Yeah, most people probably don't know who that is. He was Gaeta on Battlestar Galactica, and my favorite character on the show. But, I'm not saying this from a fangirl's point of view. Far from it.
He is a professorially trained opera singer, and has the baritone voice of an angel. Not to mention he's a pretty good actor. If he went on Glee, I'd die of happiness.

James Marsden would be great. Also maybe Joseph Gordon Levitt?

I think James Marsden would be awesome!

Taye Diggs! His smile is legendary and it'd be fun because he's married to Idina Menzel. Not to mention the fact his singing is like...honey melted over sex.

I think Emma needs a tall/dark/handsome type. I think Jon Hamm (of Mad Men) would be awesome if he can sing. Otherwise, maybe Matthew Broderick or Hugh Jackman.

I would love to see James Marsden on Glee! He would be perfect. As a side note, it's funny that she dates a dentist. Her character on Ugly Betty dated a dentist in season one, who Betty scooped up and also dated.

Rehnexia, I think Masi Oka would be a brilliant choice. They already reunited Johnathon Groff and Lea Michele (who also starred alongside each other in the Tony Award winning musical "Spring Awakening,") so I could TOTALLY see them doing this. Plus, I do believe that someone in the cast (possibly Jayma Mays) made a comment about bringing in Masi Oka for some kind of role. But who knows, really.

James Marsden would be a good choice, he's super super cute and he's a very good singer

Glee Quotes

You know, a great big fat person once stood on this stage and told a group of a dozen or so nerds in hideous disco outfits that glee, by its very definition, is about opening yourself up to joy. Now it's no secret that for a long time I thought that was a load of hooey. As far as I could see the glee club was nothing but a place where a bunch of cowardly losers go to sing their troubles away and delude themselves into thinking that they live in a world that cares one iota about their hopes and dreams, totally divorced from the harsh reality that in the real world there's not much more to hope for than disappointment, heartbreak, and failure. And you know what. I was exactly right. Thats exactly what glee club is. But I was wrong about the cowardly part. What I finally realized, now that I'm well into my late thirties, it takes a lot of bravery to look around you and see the world not as it is but as it should be. A world where the quarterback becomes best friends with the gay kid, and the girl with the big nose ends up on Broadway. Finding the courage to open up your heart and sing about it. That's what glee club is. And for the longest time I thought that was silly, and now I think it's just about the bravest thing that anyone could do.

[to Finn] You know, I don't really know what's going to happen between us, but I know that you used to be the guy that would make me feel like the most special girl in the whole world, and it doesn't feel that way anymore. Now it just feels sad and confusing. And the worst part is that it doesn't even feel that bad anymore.
