On Season Two of The Vampire Diaries...

We're just a few days removed from the shocking season finale of The Vampire Diaries.

You can relive the incredible events in "Founder's Day" via our TV Fanatic Round Table, while also reading what the cast itself had to say about filming the episode.

As the fall of 2010? It's never too early to think about season two, is it? That's what The New York Post talked to producer Kevin Williamson about, and his responses follow...

Is Tyler a werewolf? I would without question say that Tyler will have his journey in season two. We’ll definitely be exploring the Lockwood curse next year, which, if you’ve read the books, you know there’s something that triggers it and it simply hasn’t been triggered yet.

Are there more flashbacks to come? Probably periodically – just not the Civil War era. It’s been fun and a way that I can enjoy flashbacks, becauseI typically hate them, so the fact that there’s vampire mythology involved makes it easier for me to swallow. We’re just telling the complete story.

Will we see Kelly Donovan again? That depends on [Melinda Clarke's] CW pilot. But she was very much one of the characters we didn’t get to fully explore, so I would welcome her back. We have a whole backstory to her character and her involvement with Mayor Lockwood that we just never ever began to touch on because of time. If she’s willing to come play, we have more story to tell with her.

Damon: My new girlfriend. Andie Starr. Action News.
Alaric: It's not called Action News.
Damon: I know. I like just saying it.
