True Blood Casting News: Michael Steger, Sookie's Fairy Godmother
A couple of unexpected True Blood casting notes to pass along today:
- 90210 star Michael Steger has landed a role on season three. He'll play Tony, a gay prostitute who gets picked up by the King of Mississippi because he resembles his current boyfriend, Talbot. Steger may recur again on season four, but has no plans to leave 90210.
- EW.com also reports that British actress Lara Pulver will portray Sookie’s fairy godmother, Claudine. Yes, her fairy godmother. Fans of Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire books will understand why.

Oh wait that exactly what it’s like. And she doing a bad Job and not capturing the part at all. When I first read Claudine I thought Bar Wench or Succubus,a Mage Call Girl. I WAS SHOCKED To find out she was a Royal Fairy. Lara Pulver looks like Queen not a flirt and messing up the role. Could be bad Writing but still it’s cast Very wrong. I can see that M.L. House has never actually read the books.
