Extended Hellcats Promo: Meet the Characters
Will you watch Hellcats?
This simple question has stirred up some debate on TV Fanatic, as readers took both sides when we asked about The CW series in May and offered up a sneak peek at it.
Now, the network has released a new, extended preview of this cheerleader-based drama. It stars Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka and it debuts on Wednesday,, September 8.
Watch the six-minute long video below, get to know the show's characters and then sound off again: Will you give Hellcats a chance?

The preview made me think of the old OTH episodes. Peyton's creepy stalker, Quinton and the story line of being left naked in the locker room- all One Tree Hill. So, no points for originality but since I miss the old OTH, I might still watch, if available where I live.

I'm just a little scared about what has happened to former Disney Channel female stars. I mean, these girls played such wholesome characters (if you don't count High School Musical which is a movie, not a tv show). Now, well, I suppose to be fair I haven't seen an episode yet, but CW shows have a habit of the leading women, particular when cheerleaders, of not being so wholesome (which admittedly does make for some interesting tv occassionaly). I will say, I do enjoy a lot of stuff that has been on CW (and WB in the day). Looking forward to the start of a new season of shows.
