Gossip Girl Forum: Moderators Wanted!
After receiving numerous complaints in recent weeks regarding the conduct of certain members of the Gossip Girl forum, TV Fanatic is reaching out to fans for help.
We're looking for a handful of fair, unbiased moderators to help control the bullying, spamming and other problems that, unfortunately, continue to cause problems.
Our goal is for the forum to be self-policing. As the show's #1 fan community, we want to keep it as open as possible, but at a certain point, lines must be drawn.
Email steve (at) tvfanatic (dot com) or send a private message to nominate yourself or others you feel are qualified to regulate the forum for the betterment of all.
Tell us why you or your nominee(s) would be a respected, balanced moderator who is up to the task and can help bring order to TV Fanatic's Gossip Girl forum.
After receiving your nominations, we will contact prospective candidates, and in the event of too many worthy submissions, conduct a poll to select moderators.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Make your nominations good ... or else!

thank you! it's about effing time.
it's disappointing to see what happened to the forums. it was fun being here before all the invasion of the trolls happened...i mean, really?! it took days to put a stop to the miley cyrus is god crap.
basically "Distance Makes Them Stronger" summed it all up.
try to get a moderator who actually LIKES the show.
preferably someone who doesn't have a ship...someone who actually applies what he/she imposes in his/her posts and the post of others. if the mod just talks the talk then its a clear abuse of power.
anyway, i doubt if this is the top community for GG fans. some of the people who come here trash talk what the show or don't even watch it anymore...and i hope it will truly be open for everyone because the bullying caused A LOT of members to abandon this site completely.

I'll say this once to get this off my chest:
Took you guys long enough.
A lot of us found this site, formerly Gossip Girl Insider, as our first foray into the fandom, because you're one of the top sites to deliver the latest GG news. It was great, until we started hanging out in the forums. There all the shipper wars, the cliques, the bullying, the name calling got to us, and we thought it best to leave. Some of us come back every once in a while but sometimes it just felt pointless if moderation still wasn't in place. It was a basic feature of a discussion forum that was distinctly missing in this place.
I don't know why it took this long since the reputation of TVF/GGI as a hellhole for a certain type of Gossip Girl fan is now hard to erase, but I'm glad you guys are finally doing something about it. And it appears people are making up in the forums too, so I just hope things move forward for the better. I admire the fans who have stuck by the forums this long despite the un
