NCIS: Los Angeles Season 2 Premiere: The Kensi Show

by at . Comments

Callen and Sam (Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J) get most of the attention on NCIS: Los Angeles. But in the season opener September 21, the twosome had better make room.

The second season debut, a two-hour event following the season premiere of NCIS, is basically the “Kensi and Marty Deeks show,” reveals executive producer Shane Brennan.

That would be the crime-solving duo played by Daniela Ruah and past guest star-turned series regular Eric Christian Olsen. EW's Michael Ausiello caught up with the former.

“The banter they are writing for us is hilarious,” Ruah says. “I burst out laughing during table reads. I think our viewers are going to really appreciate the addition [of Eric].”

Bad Ass Kensi

As for whether there's any sort of love connection between the two, that we're going to have to wait and see on. We're thinking some Tony-Ziva like tension ... and hotness.

I would like to make a request. I enjoy your show alot. Is there a way to eleminate cursing and swearing. It takes away from the story and actors proformance when you insert prophanity. I have always enjoyed the WHO DONE IT shows from Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marple, Alfred Hitchcock to Criminal Minds etc. I just believe your show is so good that it does't need to be brought down this way. It changes the whole face of it, removes the classic appeal.
Sincerely,
Char

Now I'm very excited for the season premiere, and I really can't wait to see the “Kensi and Marty Deeks show. I recently discovered this show and only like it because of Eric Christian Olsen.
