The Vampire Diaries

While fans gear up for the return of The Vampire Diaries on September 9, they should also file away a couple other dates:

1. On August 31, the complete first season DVD will be released.
2. On October 12, it's now been confirmed that The Vampire Diaries: Original Television Soundtrack will also hit stores.

Following each new episode of this hit CW drama, viewers can (nay, should!) visit TV Fanatic and browse through our Vampire Diaries music section to purchase the latest singles played in the background of various scenes.

But this CD is also worth considering, as it will consist of 15 tracks by artists such as Placebo, Gorillaz and Goldfrapp.
