I hope CBS is aware of all of the negative comments coming their way.
Like this one: Theres no further reason for me to watch this show.
I'm beyond disgusted with their decision.

I think that I will find something else to watch. The one show I watched without fail. A.J. Cook gone and Brewster to be in only limited amount of shows this season, what a bad decision.

I liked the character of JJ and don't understand why AJ Cook was forced off the show. That said, I do think she was the most expendable character. I am more concerned by the steady decline in the quality of writing on this show. What used to be a very smart series that always stood out has gradually been becoming a bit more cliched and bland. The JJ leaves episode was a perfect example. Guess I'm in the minority here, but I thought it was terrible. That last 15 minutes of JJ saying her goodbye was cringe-worthy schmaltz that this show has studiously avoided over the years. It hasn't jumped yet, but I can see the shark swimming out there.

not sure why JJ is gone but if not of her own choice I don't think show will be at the level fans expect. If not her choice, how can I apply for the dumb idea job (I can do this)please kick this person off the team. I'll still watch I like the idea/concept/people as whole. Nice to see great show that has smart, attractive women with cloths still on and I'm a male saying this. Hope things don't get silly and Reid becomes a serial killer but that might be interesting.

Who is in charge of this show? J.J. was an asset. I think the staff of CBS was infected by one of the Criminal Minds for letting J.J. go. This is not their first mistake, do the fans of the show have any say? or are we puppets to the stupidity of the CBS brass.

Removed it from DVR as soon as JJ "left the building." Isn't that woman who heads CBS the one responsible for making a bunch of other bad decisions? She can use her incompetent slasher pen without me anymore :-)

It is a horrible mistake to take JJ off Criminal Minds, who was the idiot who did this?? The show will not be the same without her. Really stupid mistake.

And all of a sudden I don't see how the show's going to be as good anymore. No JJ, and they're going to slowly remove Prentiss as well? Pff.

I HOPE THAT J J WILL BE BACK SOON........IT WAS SAD TO SEE HER LEAVING ..WHY THE PRODUCERS DECIDE TO CUT HER OFF??? GIVE US A REASON GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Criminal Minds is a masterpiece and taking A.J. Cook off the show and the possibility of the second female FBI Agent off the show or limiting her appearance is totally unacceptable!!! I just started watching the re-runs on ION TV and fell in love with the series. My question is, who are the idiots that make these decisions. Having a female perceptive in solving these heinous crimes is such a plus. Why must men dominate all of the crime shows on TV. I'm sick of it....I guess I'm with the other blogger, I guess my ONLY TV show I will watch is Law & Order SUV! The public must win this with our viewership. Tell them clowns to stop killing shows because of their male egos!!!

JJ was a source of comfort in the show - it is so sad to see her go. One of the reasons I watch (as a 36-year old female) is because I like watching how women in these tough roles do so well, yet also remain women. Criminal Minds was one of the best examples of that (CSI is over the top with the ridiculous shoes the women wear in the field). Losing JJ is equivalent to losing the heart of the show. This used to be my favorite show on tv. What a shame.

sorry, one more comment after reading the notes from the show evaluation.
You know, something that every single member on that team said, over and over again...that team BELONGS TOGETHER, even the FBI director has said that. So if these are the words that are scripted and approved by the director and the studio...they why are they pulling JJ out, what, did they just lie all those other times??? I don't get it. These actors/actresses play their so completely, so true to themselves, I would imagine that even if any one of them went offscript, no one would even bat an I, they wouldn't even have to pause to figure out "now what". You know why? Because they know each that much. They are like a family, they ARE a family. You don't rip out family members just because you need to cut money, or you want to run a spin-off show. Find that money from some other source and leave this show as it is. PLEASE
I love JJ. She is the calm in almost constantly brewing store for Criminal Minds. She is probably the only person that get Hotch back to normal when he gets all wound uptight. He can yell at her. reprimand her, and she stays strong, and then tells him what he really should have said. She's the only one that won't back down from hotch, and in the few times that it has been imperative that she does back down...she just does. no fight, no tears....life goes on.
I have been watching this show for over 4 years. We started getting in Germany when we were stationed there, of course we had to wait until it came out on DVD and then rent or buy it. Our other option was to wait 6-12 months for the states to relesase it to AFN (armed forces network). but with that it took 1 month to watch 2 episodes. And they were screened so we missed all the good stuff. And to make it even more worse, each 45 minute episode took generally 1 1/2 hours. An no, they weren't commercials...they were informative i

For what reason is a female character cut out of the show out but no male? This is sexiest!!! With less female characters on the show I will certainly stop watching. J.J was wonderful! What a bad and unjust decision by the executives. Shame on you!!! Marie

I HATE that they took JJ away, But I do wonder if this is going to be a winnowing away of the best ones by the "director" witch lady, as a way of ending the show. that mean, evil, wench, director lady seemed to have been brought in just to kill the show anyway.
Guess CBS doesn't have a clue how to run a newsroom, or a series.

The producers have given financial reasons for letting JJ go.
Maybe they need the money to pay Forest Whitaker to take on the new Criminal Mind series.
The whole situation stinks!

I am highly upset with fact JJ is leaving the show. Many people are pushing againist this, but I do not think it will help get JJ back. The female role JJ,in my opinion,is the star role because without her the team would fall apart;they also wouldn't be as great of a team as they are with JJ because she is always trying her hardest with any task.JJ loves her job with every body in her body and it is highly shown in the episodes.JJ has made many compromises with her family to be with the team.JJ is the strongest fermale on Criminal Minds and I think she should be rewarded for that not be replaced. When CBS replaces her the show will start loosing their viewers because it will not be the same without the one who is the most reliable and determined one on the team.

I agree with you guys for the most part. AJ Cook leaving was a terrible decision made by the producers. And last nights episode was absolutely heartbreaking. It was like watching a family being ripped apart. But, I am not going to stop watching. I dont want the show to be cancelled. So is it going to be different? Yes. But its not worth the show being cancelled for poor ratings. But thats just my opinion.
