I was shocked to see JJ leaving the BAU on the episode last night. I've been preparing to enjoy yet another great season of Criminal Minds and they slap us with this early in the season? I like all the characters on the show but JJ was my favourite. She is just a lovely actress, it is such a great character and it seemed to me that they were building and detailing the character. I will still watch the show but am deeply disappointed and I hope this is just some temporary break of some kind.

LOL CBS makes another fail decision. Although I'm not surprised it is the same network that took off 'The Unit' when it was going up in popularity and ratings.

this makes no sense, them letting her go. They cant be pressed for money or anything since they are going to do a spin off of this show. I must say the end made me cry a little bit.

I felt a lot of the lines written in this episode were a direct slap to the face to CBS. I think they made a very poor decision letting go of a great actress. I will miss JJ!

what is reason that she is leaving? if written out think producers making huge mistake if her choice good luck to her.
next to Garcia, J.J was my next favorite character not only is she gorgeous but she added that softness and compassion to a " strictly by the book" BAU.I am hoping this is all some kind of ploy and she will come back at the end of the season or something.

Have loved this show since the onset-feel the show will not be the same without JJ-hope this is not the "beginning of the end" as I feel she was a vital part of the show, as each member of the team brings their own part to make this show the hit that it is. I found her leaving to be the saddest show to date-more so than the criminal aspect.

Big mistake...this show is so character driven. She gave the show the "human element." I believed her in this role. What were the producers thinking?? Just not a happy fan today!
