Dancing With the Stars Review: Week Six Performances

at .

Brandy rocked Rock Week on Dancing With the Stars last night, while Kurt Warner dropped from contender status to dead last, sparking outcry from the audience.

Well, maybe that's an exaggeration. He wasn't one of the top tier, but he was no joke. And the crowd may not have been ready to riot, but they weren't pleased.

In last night's format, each star danced an individual routine (paso doble or tango), as well as participate in a dance marathon, earning two scores from the judges.

Not to be Kurt, but Warner wasn't good at all Monday.

The performances were all over the place. Audrina Patridge was criticized for not having more passion, yet she still finished up in second place on the leaderboard.

Rick Fox and Kyle Massey did well enough to tie for third place, one point ahead of Jennifer Grey, who was uncharacteristically lackluster with partner Derek Hough.

Jennifer's paso doble was "way out of control," said judge Carrie Ann Inaba, and the scores showed it. We don't think she's in danger, but a 29 overall isn't great.

Bristol Palin was praised for her tango, her "best performance and best dance to date," according to Bruno Tonioli. A tough marathon effort hampered her, though.

The scores after the jump ...

  1. Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 36 (26, 10).
  2. Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani: 32 (24, 8).
  3. Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke: 30 (24, 6).
  4. Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 30 (23, 7).
  5. Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: 29 (20, 9).
  6. Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 28 (23, 5).
  7. Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya: 22 (18, 4).
