The Cape Promo: Will You Tune In?
When NBC announced its new mid-season lineup this week, a lot of attention was focused on the new Thursday night comedy block that would send 30 Rock to 10 p.m.
However, the network will also premiere a couple new shows in January, one of which is The Cape.
Starring David Lyons in the main role, this high concept drama centers around a cop that is framed for murder and must abandon his family. But he finds a way to reconnect with them and fight crime simultaneously: by taking on the persona of a superhero known as The Cape.

I think NBC wants to see how many numbers The Cape pulls versus what The Event is doing now. From what I’ve heard, The Cape is
more easily digestible (and better, if that’s hard) than The Event. Hopefully NBC knows what they’re doing.
