I liked this episode, especially the fishing scenes and all about how Christina couldn't just shut up and be Der's guest on a boat :)))) The only thing worries me is that have you guys noticed, that when Christina got back home, Owen was on the phone and some info was on his laptop. I think he understood perfectly what Mer told him about his "cowardness" and he finally knew he needs to leave his wife to let her heal in her own way. I think he's going back to Irag or elsewhere :(((( But if it so, I am goin to miss him like crazy and their relationship with Chris. Why can't she just be happy that there is someone by her side ready to catch and comfort her in every way possible??!!! Im sorry, but IMHO, it is stupid

mark and lexie again? seriously?! can't the writers just give this two a rest? they've tried it.it didn't work.their pairing still feels iffy to me...geez

Ok. Owen is the biggest jackass I have ever seen in the show's history. He doesn't know Meredith one bit, and the writer's are just letting him put down Meredith, without any opposition from Meredith.
Cristina needs to get herself together, realize that the shooting affected everyone more or less, and that she cannot just give up on everything. And what really amazes me, is that when Owen was having issues from war, he finally went to Derek for help and did something about it, instead of denying it or just giving up on his job. But he is not willing to encourage Cristina to do the same, because he is afraid of rejection. He is the biggest coward, and is stupid for labeling bravery as "recklessness" in Meredith, only because he doesn't have the balls to face the truth.
Cristina needs to apologize to Meredith, and make Owen apologize. Derek needs to have Meredith's back when it comes to these things, and I am furious that he did not help Meredith on the phone because Cristina was there. I am so frustrated with the writer's right now, and with everyone else treating Meredith like this. She is going to break down soon, and everyone better realize how badly they've messed up. Especially Derek. Because I was expecting him to be the last person to leave Meredith on her own, in favor of Cristina. Oh I am SO mad.

Mer/Owen,I like their argument and really don't care who's right to Cri, beaucse she'll be back to OR soon,GA Fan should stop picking-up site, PS. I always enjoy Owen's amazing in ER/OR, so high intensity
Cri/Derek, lower than my expectation, but so far it's ok
Mark/Lex, a little boring!! thier story's neither romantic nor convincing
Teddy/Henry, not so bad, this one love story could be better than Danny/Liz , wait and see!!
I don't like talkative Eli, the nurse play like smarter than Doctor

@Julie - This is my perspective...maybe someone has a different take: I believe Cris started crying when she was holding the fish because she finally realized that this (fishing and the other things she been doing) is not who she is. She is a surgeon. She finally realizes that she has not been herself and she needs to move forward. As far as the voiceover for Callie and Arizona scene - they are using the breakup as a metphor for surgery and that healing takes place in post-op. This breakup has changed Callie in that she is starting to feel like people need to work for her 'love'. She made that hip replacement couple need her. She is going to make Arizona work for her now. She's not going to just 'heal' because Arizona needs to be with her. She not going to just let her back in without Arizona really realizing how awesome she is. Arizona's going to have to fight for her...and they will either be together, or not. (Of course, we have to believe they will be.)

Great episode!!! Hated Owen!! he treats Mer like crap and Mer was just doing her job and looking out for her best friend!! Derek and Christina were great. it showed that Christina just needs to let go and she cant always be that tough one. I actually liked teddy tonight because of her love life. she has gone through hell and back with the jack*** Owen! now she needs to do something for herself.Cant wait to see her and her buddy Arizona interact because they had been writing to each other... Mark and lexie are perfect for each other. lexie finally realized she had to let her gaurd down and let mark in. Mark has always looked out for lexie anyway and always loved her. Mer and Der were boring, just boring scenes! Arizona poured her heart out to Callie and meant every word of it!! but you cant expect Callie to except her and bring her in rite then and there!! its not there relationship style.. they are slow. i was a little mad at the way callie just brushed it off, she slammed the door when the whole episode she was talking about how much she misses her!! Jcap looks smokin even after her 2nd kidd!! hot mama!! Arizona and Callie will eventually get back together but im happy Callie didnt just jump back into things. she is also the one who handles situations poorly though, just walking outt. Arizona has some apologizing... and in return Callie has some explaining to do if Arizona catches on to what happened while she was gone (which i think teddy will tell her). Arizona shouldnt have to work too hard for callie because callie is a wreck without someone in her life. i also think part of callie wanted to just grab arizona and make out with in the doorway!! cant wait till januaryy!!

another disappointing episode. Mer is being treated like garbage althoughis the character with the most depth. Where is MerDer relation and scenes as a couple who lost a baby?? where is the gifted surgeon Mer?? instread we get an ass Qwen who is unable to help his wife and Mer worries for her soulmata. instead we get an idiot and annoying replica (Lexie) who is supposed to be bossy like Mer or be so perfect surgeon like Mer,and by the way the Mexie thing sucks from the very first moment.Mark after Addison is rtreated too like crap. excellent scene the door on Arizona's face. Callie is mistreated as well. So, whwn are the writers going to treat the protagonist better?? till then we use the fast forward button

Meredith McDreamy WORD! So tired of the writers treating Meredith like crap.

@ jude, AMEN!!!! I am tired of the writers not writing the obvious. No human being is going to be questioned about her actions during an event by 3 different people and not make any attempt to defend herself. I agree that she did not reckless or thoughtlessly offer her life in exchange for Derek's and Cristina's for that matter. She loves them -- didn't she describe Derek as her husband and Cristina as her soul mate in an earlier episode? There's no way she was going to stand there and let them die so she offered herself - a true eye for an eye -- so Clark would leave everyone else alone. She should have EXPLODED on Owen when he said that. He's insecure and took it out on Meredith. I was so annoyed. Just no way she would continue to be questioned without pushing back....

Did you notice the voting results on this epi...really good. Do you know why...well JMHO but this epi was almost perfect, the "others" were mostly fill-in material as they should be giving the main characters the screentime they need to let us actually see & hear them dealing with their lives and not have to rely on the writer's blog to figure it out. April is still so aggravating but at least Shonda didn't have her involved w/Mer, Cris, Alex or Der, so you could just DVR right through her scenes. Now just get rid of Teddy SL's & we'll be home free! I even almost enjoyed Lexie (almost).
