Kaylee Defer to Play Recurring Gossip Girl Character
Kaylee Defer is joining Gossip Girl as a recurring character, Deadline reports.
Her character will be introduced later this season. Defer was a regular on the Fox comedy The War at Home and the WB drama The Mountain. She's also been on How I Met Your Mother, Bones, CSI: Miami and Ghost Whisperer, among other shows.
Details are sparse as to who she'll play on Gossip Girl. Any theories?

My Thoughts are if Blair and Dan go their seperate ways like they don't kiss and we know Prince Louie is going to be visiting Blair so this new girl could get involved with Dan just a suggestion someone mentioned her relation to Lily and Serena what a cousin Lily's sisters daughter well what if she is going to stir up trouble for everyone that would be pretty much like the Georgina storyline only time will tell it wouldn't surprise if she was another one of Chuck's victims cause what about Nate/Raina?

I hate the fact people are saying stuff like "she'll cause trouble and leave because she's a guest star". Read the beginning caption. It says she's gonna play a recurring role. I think she'll be Blair's cousin

I think she's just a bitch from columbia who causes some problems for blair and maybe serena, someone like penelope (but more evil). I think this because she is a recurring character...

Urgh, another generic love interest for Nate. She'll show up for a little while, cause some drama, and then we'll never hear from her again...
That's the problem with guest stars: we all know that their characters are disposable.

Must be a love interest for Nate. he's been with everyone else...twice. Plus, he's too cute to continue floundering with lame storylines and no romantic partner! Although I think they could've cast someone cuter than this chick. He's HOT...he deserves HOT as well.
