Best episode: Impossible to say, they are all awesome.
Best character: Damon (obviously)
Worst character: It's a tie between Matt, Bonnie and Jenna.
Most impressive cast member: Nina Dobrev
Biggest surprise: That Caroline would be so awesome as a vampire and that Tyler actually could be likable.
Best addition: Elijah, Elijah, Elijah....
Hopes for 2011: That John will stay for more than one episode and that he will bring Isobel with him. And that they will make Elijah permanent!!

BEST EPISODE: I'm torn between Masquerade, The Sacrifice & The Return, depends on my mood...
BEST CHARACTER: DAMON SALVETORE, come to momma...
WORST CHARACTER: This is a tough one, but I'd say Matt. Poor Mattie.
MOST IMPRESSIVE: Nina Dobrev, of course. This girl is a rockstar...
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Oooh, this show's full of them (Damon snapping Jaremy's neck, Caroline turns, Mason works for Kat because 'they're in love', Jenna stabs herself) but I go with the one that surprised me the most and it's kind of a bid deal... ORIGINALS CAN COMPEL OTHER VAMPIRES!!!
BEST ADDITION: Seriously, TVFanatic?! Rose?! The best addition was ELIJAH hands down.
HOPES FOR 2011: KLAUS. Forwood development, Beremy (or Jonnie, Jennie, Jeronnie or whatever you want to call it...), Matt is needing a storyline ASAP, Steffan and Caroline's friendship scenes, shirtless Salvatores and Tyler and at last but not least... Best character: DAMON
Worst Character: i actually love all the characters.. think matt and alaric hav been pretty useless this season. i miss alaric!
Most impressive cast member: in love with Ian, but nina is amazing how she plays both charcters esp. Katherine, shes unreal
Biggest surprise: Jeanna stabbing herself
Best Addition: Rose, love her.
Hopes for 2011: more damon&rose, hope she recovers, and would love to see elena&damon get it on before the end of the season

i actually thought Jenna was the worst character, all she's good for is getting alaric naked. plus shes a foool who lets elijah just walk into the housee like c'mooon!

Best Episode: The Return
Best Character: damon- duh!
Worst Character: Matt. the guy hasnt even had a storyline this season and jeremy is actually one of my favourite characters and while last season he might have been a bit useless brooding over his vampire girlfriends's deaths, being mad at elena and being overall depressed, he actually got his act together became an active part of the vd clique
Most impressive cast member: i know the obvious answer would be nina but am i the only one who isnt so impressed with her performance? she is great, sure, but playing two characters that are the complete opposite of each other isnt so hard, its all in the details which, in this case, arent that important since katherine and elena are so utterly different.so im gonna go with damon just because i love him so much!
Biggest surprise: i agree about caroline. i used to not care about her at all and found her whiny and spoiled but she has definitely surprised me as a vampire!

nina dobrev is definitely awesome she pulls off so many characters perfectly and i am team setelena foreva....best surprises have to go to caroline becoming a vampire and tyler transforming into a werewolf...his transformation was the best and only thing i can remember from the finale

Best Episode: Kill or be killed, or the sacrifice
Best character: DAMON DAMON DAMON.
Worst Character: Am I the only one who loves Jeremy? Give him a break! He isn't that bad. Tyler, on the other hand, is. He goes around for the whole of the first season manipulating people and being a jerk, and suddenly he goes WOOF WOOF WOOF! at a full moon and everyone loves him? He used Vicki, he picked on Jeremy, he tried to beat up Stefan and he annoyed Damon. And Caroline gets on my nerves...
Most impressive cast member: Well, I sort of worship the ground that ian Somerhalder walks on, so...
Biggest surprise: That Caroline didn't die an episode after her transformation...
Best Addition: Although he terrifies me, Elijah.
Hopes for 2011: More Damon. More Jeremy. More Alaric and Damon. A story line for Matt.

Best episode: Rose. (Damon's confession of love clinched it)
Best character: Damon of course, he is as complex as he is amazing!
Worst character: I get the Jeremy thing, 'cause he's not very interesting but it's Matt that gets my nod, he has no storylines anymore!
Most Impressive: Nina doing both Elena and Katherine
Biggest Surprise: Caroline and Taylor, both their individual transformations and budding relationship.
Best Addition: Elijah
Hopes for 2011: An interesting solution to the doppelganger conundrum. And perhaps a whisper of hope for a Delena relationship.
