Amber Tamblyn Checks Out of Princeton-Plainsboro

by at . Comments

Unfortunate casting news out of House today: Amber Tamblyn, who has made a terrific impression on viewers as Martha Masters, will not be returning to the series next season.

Creator David Shore tells TV Line he was hoping the actress would stick around long-term, but simply says: "She’s not going to be with us for [much longer].”

Masters and a Patient

Shore says Masters will depart around the same time that Olivia Wilde returns as Thirteen. How will the former say goodbye?

The producer will merely tease: "She’s getting a good sendoff."

Sad to see her go, but if I had to choose between her and 13 I would choose 13. 13 is my absolute favorite characters, if you don't count House of course.

SO disappointed to see Amber T. go. I'd rather see her than "13". She is SO attractive and played her character so well. She could have been a major star on the show. :(

No! Oh well. I would have taken her over 3 Thirteens anytime.
