House doesn't air a new episode until February 7 and it's easy to see why:

This show needs to rest up for a week before airing what it's billing as the "most devastating" installment of the season.

On "Family Practice," Candice Bergen will return as Cuddy's mother, but all will not be well with this character. When she falls ill, House will take extreme measures in order to save her life. Yes, extreme measures, even for him. We can only imagine what that will entail.
