L. Scott Caldwell to Guest Star on Grey's Anatomy
L. Scott Caldwell portrayed Rose Nadler, the cancer patient cured by the island on Lost. Come February 23, we'll see if Seattle Grace has similar healing powers.
Or, more accurately, her husband will. Caldwell will play the wife of a patient taking part in the Alzheimer’s clinical trial Derek's running on Grey's Anatomy.
Interestingly enough, Caldwell’s Lost better half Bernard was played by Sam Anderson, who appeared on Grey's Anatomy himself in February 2009.

I heard though that Alex will only be assisting Derek with one Alzheimers patient. But nevertheless, it would be good to see him work with Derek and eventually go back to pediatrics.

I like the Derek Alzheimer's study SL and the guest star from LOST! :D Butttt I don't want Alex to assist Derek he belongs in peds. And I actually like the Derek/Cristina relationship coming on so working on the Alzheimer's study together would be perfect for me (just my opinion)

I HOPE TO GOD it is Alex that is assisting Derek. That would be awesome, I love seeing different characters working with different characters....if that makes sense...we don't really see a lot of Alex/Derek. Bring it on....

@madworld30 OMG what r u saying where was it written that Alex wld be assisting? That wld mean that Derek picked Alex for his clinical trial oh man i want to squeal with jooooooooy that its Alex and not April or even Cristina for that matter

I don't think I'll like the Alzheimers storyline much, but I am willing to give it ago. Aside from that, I look forward to L. Scott Caldwell's appearance! :D
