Larisa Oleynik Lands Major Role on Hawaii Five-O
Hawaii Five-O has found its new major player.
As first reported by TV Line, Larisa Oleynik will come on board the CBS hit this winter. The actress, who has appeared on Mad Men and Psych, will portray a former CIA analyst named Jessica Kaye. This character will be a Harvard graduate who arrives on the island straight from Langley, Virginia.
Look for Kaye to have a personal stake in the team's hint for Wo Fat. The reason? He killed her fiance.
Oleynik is signed for the rest of season one and has an option to become a regular on season two. What do you think of this casting choice?

I hate this actress and character. Huge mistake to add her to the second season team. I agree with keeping the original 4 as the main team - do not add a fifth member!!!!!

as a teen. Looks to be a interesting season 2.

Kind of excited. Be nice to add something a little different to the dynamic and another female presence would definitely add something nice to the mix. Plus, she is former CIA, this should be a little fun.
Too Young? She would be at least the same age as Kono or even older!

I hope the new character works out; however, I think they should keep the original 4 as the complete team. It will be OK to have different ones come in from time to time to assist, but please keep the original 4 - McGarrett, Danno, Chin Ho, and Kono. We do not need a 5th wheel.
