Nancy Travis to Guest Star on Grey's Anatomy
Nancy Travis will appear in an upcoming episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Travis will play Allison, a patient in Derek's Alzheimer's clinical trial, according to TV Guide. Her 10-year-old son takes more care of her than the other way around, which will make Dr. Stark (Peter MacNicol) insist that Social Services be contacted.

The 49-year-old is known for So I Married an Axe Murderer and 3 Men and a Baby. Travis recently starred in The Bill Engvall Show and appeared on Desperate Housewives.
Steve Marsi is the Managing Editor of TV Fanatic. Follow him on Google+ or email him here.

So, what do we think is going to happen with her son? Is Meredith going to finally have a breakdown as the mother and child are painfully separated? Maybe MerDer will bring the kid home for a few weeks during the trial?

I think MerDer will really identify with this storyline . Mer will worry this will be her future with any child she could maybe have.
