90210 Review: The Wrath of Adrianna

at . Comments

Feeling a little blue? You'd have fit right in on "Blue Naomi."

Navid continued on his quest to legitimize Shirazi Studios and turn it into a production powerhouse. Formalizing a partnership with Dixon, he acted more like an old school studio boss than the 17-year-old kid he’s supposed to be.

Snoop Dogg on 90210

And that old saying of never go into business with friends? Dixon should have paid attention to it. Call me Mr. Shirazi? Go wash my car? I don’t care if Navid was just fooling around and it was a Ferrari. Hey Navid, how about you kiss my fist? And since when do legitimate rap stars hang out by themselves at car washes?

Dixon just happened to run into Snoop Dogg hanging out alone and actually impressed him enough to not only have Snoop invite him for a drive to listen to his new tracks - but sign up to shoot his new video at Shirazi Entertainment?!? I guess Dixon has it like that. Like Snoop, I just rolled my eyes and went along for the ride. But the partnership between Navid and Dixon seemed doomed.

Naomi blew (no pun intended) me out of the water with her shenanigins. Not only did she do her best impression of a naughty nerdy schoolgirl in her attempts to seduce a disinterested Max, she went all out in her Avatar ensemble.

Was it me or did she look just like Michelle Pfeiffer? Especially during those close-ups. Must have been the eyes. To see these two finally brought together was fun. Nerds can be mean and arrogant, too. Huh, who knew? I think I’m going to enjoy seeing Naomi and Max skulking about on the down low. That slo-mo ‘80s, teen movie style, cool queens vs. nerd kings at the end? Classic. I’m looking forward to their return from this long hiatus.

Thankfully, Emily won’t be coming back, given the fact that the gang practically ran her out of town with their pitchforks. Can’t say I’ll be sorry to see her gone. Stealing everyone’s thunder on stage, running wild trying to seduce Liam in her lame Dress Barn clearance getups, bad-mouthing  Naomi, Silver, Adrianna and any other female within hearing range... SWF had it coming to her. The trap set between Annie and Liam was brilliant. Ding dong, the bitch is dead! Exit stage right.

Ivy looked like she needed to score some stronger bud from Snoop to cope with the news that her new boyfriend Raj won’t be around much longer.  Leukemia tends to bum people out. Maybe that'll set her straight since Ivy looked like she was headed into Jeff Spicoli territory. Poor Ivy, she might be able to catch a wave but she can't seem to catch a break.

How will this situation lead to this major development for the pair?

Finally, Adrianna was out for blood in her plot to nail Silver to the cross. Subtly toying with Silver and dropping hints about knowing who the cheating skank was that had been running around with Navid, Adrianna relished every chance she could get to torture Silver. Using poor, chubby Lila as her supposed victim to finally expose Silver was genius. I actually thought Adrianna was going to cut Silver some slack for fessing up. It completely caught me by surprise when Adrianna went ahead and sent that threatening pic. Of Silver, not Lila, literally exposed!

Looks like there’s a new bitch in town.

dont know if it is just me, but the whole ivy and raj storyline reminded me a bit of "a walk to remember" except with the whole bullying thing, just the cancer side...and ivy being shane west's by marrying raj

Great episode loved the classic 80s slow mo part bur what I don't understand is how dating naomi Clark would be bad for ur reputation like seriously but can't wait till it comes back

First off, I love how Annie and Liam seemed all mopey and depressed about everything and had fake arguments to fool Emily. She had what was coming to her when she walked into a surprise party. She had it coming though. Evil tart. It's about time that Emily is gone. Hopefully for good. I just hope that she doesn't kidnap Annie and Liam and hold them hostage. Adrianna pulling her schemes on Silver was pretty fascinating. She really does have some intelligence after all. It's about time she pulled out her old acting skills and used them. That manipulation of guilt she pulled on Silver was just favorable. The photo was the best bit. Although, I was a little confused to how she got a photo of Silver topless when Adrianna walked in after Silver already dressed and about to tie her shoes. However, I wish Adrianna really would just piss off. Her character seems like it is phasing out to me now. Stupid high school drop out. Naomi gets props. I actually love her. She's just amazing. She's my favorite and nothing is going to change that. I really admire her. When she wants something, she doesn't stop until she gets it. I was upset when she walked into that convention dressed as a Na'vi. She really did have the Michelle Pfeiffer thing going for her. I really enjoyed the library scene, it was my favorite. XD Navid and Dixon, I am not going to touch that storyline. It's pretty obvious that Navid will do something stupid involving some investment and lose the business. But I agree with the reviewer on one thing, Navid really is a bastard when it came to his Ferrari. Dixon is not his lackey. But I guess Navid never heard of mixing business with pleasure. Ivy's drug phase is really enjoyable. I must say that Raj dying will effect her real bad. However, his doctors said he had 3-4 years left. Something drastic would have to happen for his health to take such a drastic spiral. Especially if she ends up marrying him. Which will probably end up being in the season finale. This may sound odd on my part, but how slack are the writers?
In last weeks episode, Annie's mother, Debbie, said that Annie was suspended for 2 days, yet, Naomi had asked her how her "3 day weekend was?". The writers cannot even keep a number up. God they're stupid.

Naomi & Max- Absolutely loved it. I really like how out of character Naomi's being and how she's showing hints of vulnerability towards this guy. And I actually find Max to be very attractive so it's nice to watch. Liam, Annie, & Emily - I'm glad this story's over because I thought it was pointless from the beginning. The way they nailed her was pretty good but the moment Liam accepted her invitation, I was certain that they were doing that. Now, I just want to see Liam and Annie working on their relationship and really developing as a couple. Ivy & Raj - I like how this episode showed another side to Ivy but I don't really like how she's isolated from the other characters. Raj's confession on his condition was pretty heartbreaking despite being expected. Now I can see why Ivy'll most likely marry the guy. Silver & Adrianna - I thought what Adrianna did was actually expected of her. So far, what she's done is bitchy but relatively understandable. The moment she touches the bipolar meds though, that'll be a whole different story. PS I don't like how Teddy wasn't in this episode again. I think his story's the strongest and I don't like how they just take him out on random episodes when they can do so much to develop him.

i'm the only one who notices how annie is always wearing a striped t-shirt?? it's like the same wardrobe in all the episode of thsi season! come on! nobody has the same tshirts everyday or have like so many of the same! ( sorry 4 the bad english writing)

YAY no more Emily !!!! that was one storyline I did not need at all. I do however like the silver/Ade storyline I like Ade as a b*tch, like she was on the first season.. this is a lot more fun :)

OMG~adrianna is such a bitch!

naomi and max! aaaah supercute I did see the set-up plan from liam/annie coming, so happy she's finally gone, but emily is so evil I hope she stays away forever. the ivy/traj story, heavy, im curious how they are gonna do that storyline no teddy/marco/ian ????!!

woeps, i ment naomi!! i just read the comment from james and typed it over haha sorry

Wow, didn't see that coming regarding Ade sending out a sneak attack against Silver. Nice that Silver feels actual guilt for betraying Ade, she had it coming from the get go. And as I always say to myself countless times, Dixon's a jerk.
