American Idol Rundown: Who Was Your Favorite Finalist?

at .

With the exception of Karen Rodriguez, who appeared to channel Jennifer Lopez, but couldn't even get that judge on board with her performance, no American Idol finalist fared especially poorly last night.

But a few separated themselves from the pack. In a good way...

Pia Toscano proved that she's the queen of the ballad, belting out a rendition of "All By Myself" that hit every high note and resulted in her second consecutive standing ovation.

Casey Abrams covered Joe Cocker, howling and screaming on key, nailing a couple falsettos and showcasting a unique style that left Lopez blown away.

James Durbin showed a softer side, taking on Paul McCartney and making it clear that he's more versatile than your typical hard rocker.

Jacob Lusk brought a few gospel singers on stage beside him and poured passion into a rendition of R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly," an ideal song choice for someone with such range and intensity.

Stefano Langone challenged himself with a Stevie Wonder classic, transitioning from a ballad to a disco beat back to a ballad in fewer than two minutes. Randy said he makes Stevie proud.

Who was your favorite of the night? And who do you think will be the first finalist sent home?
