Bones Clips & Preview: "The Blackout in the Blizzard"

at . Comments

Will tonight's much-anticipated episode of Bones mark a turning point for B-squared?

Directed by series star David Boreanaz, "The Blackout in the Blizzard" features just that ... with Booth and Brennan stuck in the elevator in his building throughout.

One big problem with being trapped in a steel cage? It puts a real crimp in their inability to stop a killer from spreading a potentially lethal virus across the D.C. area.

But their issues don't end there ...

Wearing a thoroughly awesome hat, Sweets checks in on his colleagues periodically, and eventually takes the opportunity to bring up a serious and sore subject.

It begins with H, we'll leave it at that. But where will the discussion end?

“They sort of talk about each other’s feelings for one another,” says cast member John Francis Daley. “Sweets, obviously, loves to see that chemistry. [He pushes them] in a very intrusive, annoying way. The only way Sweets knows how.”

Bones Quotes

Booth: I worked really, really hard on my vows, but you know, now that we're here, look, um, hey. Do you remember the last time that we were here? Standing right around in this spot? It was right in the beginning before we really knew each other. I was trying to get away from you because you were irritating me and, uh, you chased me down, and you caught up to me and I said to you 'listen, I just have to get all my ducks in a row' and you said to me--
Brennan: I can be a duck.
Booth: Yeah. You know we had been chasing each other for a long time. Chasing each other through wars and serial killers and ghosts and snakes. And now chasing you has been the smartest thing that I have ever done in my life. And being chased by you has been my greatest joy. But now, we, uh, we don't have to chase each other anymore because we caught each other.

I would have thought that someone who's convinced that alien beings built Stonehenge would be a little more open to the paranormal.
