Pia Toscano: American Idol Audition of the Night
Overall, the male semifinalists outperformed their female counterparts this week on American Idol.
Following Tuesday night's performance show, it wasn't difficult to picture any one of three men in the finals: James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams.
But while none of the women were terrible, only one truly stood out: Pia Toscano. The 21-year old New York resident brought the crowd and the judges to their feet with her cover of "I'll Stand By You," capping it off by holding a long note and showcasing her powerful range.
