Who Will Gale Harold Portray on The Secret Circle?
Gale Harold is sticking around The CW.
The recurring Hellcats player - he's portrayed Julian Parrish on the first season of that series - will come on board The Secret Circle as Thomas Meade, the father of Diane (Shelley Hennig), the head of the coven around which the show is based.
The Secret Circle will premiere this fall and feature Britt Robertson in the lead role of Cassie. The pilot it based on a novel by Vampire Diaries scribe L.J. Smith.

I agree with catriona... They are not so concerned abt casting the witches, but are casting the adults. I bet this thomas meade is having an affair with fayes mother which would be gross cuz faye and diana are cousins.
And jh: the show is abt the callow teenagers not thomas meade. So maybe u need to be hoping that he be cast in another show than the secret circle.

I'll watch the show for Gale Harold, but they'd better give him some screen time. It's maddening, waiting for his infrequent appearances on "Hellcats." I'm the opposite of Catriona; I'm much more interested in Gale Harold and Natasha Henstridge (who is also in the adult cast) than in whatever callow teenagers they shove into the witch roles.

I hope they don't focus too much on the parents! It's supposed to be about the 12 kids - not the parents!!!
