Alan Cumming to Remain on The Good Wife
Great news for fans of Alan Cumming, entertaining actor, fascinating television - and, oh, the political career of Peter Florrick.
Cumming has signed a new deal with The Good Wife that will keep him on one of TV's best dramas for three more seasons. The British actor will portray campaign strategist Eli Gold through at least season five of the CBS smash.
Of course, CBS hasn't actually renewed the series for such a long period of time, but given its ratings and its critical acclaim, there's little doubt that Eli will be putting out fires for Peter for many years to come.

He's Sscottish and British, the fact that he is Scottish also makes him British
So Happy though Alan Cumming is a brilliant actor and Eli is just great to watch!

Oh c'mon Jan, don't correct if you don't know. Yes Scottish and English are different things. British means from Great Britain aka Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. So yes, Cumming is Scottish AND British.
Wasn't there a nod to a possible Eli supportin Diane in running for judge or something like that, in the latest episode?

he is very entertaining, a great actor. I hope they also bring America back and do somethig with the story line. Too bad its not on tonight.
