American Idol Top Six Take on Carole King

 

Last night's American Idol performances paid homage to legendary songwriter Carole King, whose hits are almost countless, giving the finalists plenty of material.

Some of the highlights from the top six:

  • Presumptive frontrunner James Durbin stripping down his usual hard rock style for an intimate take on "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow."
  • Scotty McCreery bouncing back from last week and taking on "You've Got a Friend" and adding a unique twist to the James Taylor classic.
  • Haley Reinhart delivering a powerful performance of "Beautiful" that was certainly true to its name, especially by the time she got to the end.

    The judges need to stop promoting james and casey. they both suck and Im am sick of the judges and ryan seacrest promtion james and casey. They should never brought casey back with the save and now they are trying to get them to win when their are other who sing so much better than these tow . james and casey
