The Vampire Diaries finally returns with a new episode this Thursday, April 7, and The CW doesn't want to alarm viewers. It's just... well...
EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS ABOUT TO CHANGE.
So teases the latest, extended promo for "Know Thy Enemy," which also prepares fans for the final six episodes of season two. Based on snippets scene here, Jenna might find out the truth; Damon won't be wearing a shirt at one point; and everyone is preparing for the arrival of Klaus.
In a word: gulp.

That scene of damon talking to elena is from 2x18 so it can not be that jenna died, because sara canning is filming 2x22 as we speak :)

I kinda agree with @s2juicee. I think that Damon is going to tell Elena that SOMEONE died, my money's on Jeremy or Alaric, and that's why Jenna crying like mad. Otherwise, had it been that she found out the truth, she would just be in SHOCK, not CRAZY CRYING.

cant wait! bonnie storyline looks amazing.. only thing is I really dont want Damon,Caroline, Stefan, Elena, Bonnie,Jeremy, Matt,Jeanna, Alaric, Tyler to die, also dont really want Katherine either,.. just kill John. Bring on Delena already

I think Damon is telling Elena to prepare herself because someone (presumably Jenna) died. Elena therefore becoming hysterical (evident in the clip).

This is going to rock! Can't wait!
In this preview it is a little confusing! But I think i' is going to be massy!
Isobel is pushing Kat/Elena to the wall, it's probably Elena pretending to be Kat to find out what !
Jenna will get pretty much crazy to find out all the shit is happening behind her back!
Damon being heartbroken because of Elena amazing, finnaly he shows feelings!
Bonnie is going over her head! And I like it! Hope she goes all Willow(Buffy) and kicks some ass!
But everything is indicating that the big final with Klaus is happening in season 3, maybe in the first 2 eps, so he kidnapps her in the final!

I'm so glad that we're finally going to get to see it next week! Ugh, the wait is FINALLY over!
Okay, I draw from the promo:
1) Stefan asking someone (possibly: John, Klaus) where Elena is (I'm guessing after she gives herself up for the sacrifice)
2) Damon throwing things off the table and getting upset about telling Elena that he loves her (possibly post-scene where he says that he has something he has to tell her). Another idea is that he is upset about her being missing.
3) Jenna obvious finds out. No guesses there.
4) Isobel looks like the one who backs Kat up against the wall.
5) Elena/Kat looks like the person who punches (I think it's John)
6) Don't know (or really care very much) about what to assume from the Bonnie clips. Pretty much witchy stuff. Ditto Matt.
7) The writers are catering to Delena fans, and we are going to get our moment! (Unless they are suuuper mean, and they have Damon say something else that would upset Elena that has nothing to do with their love.
