Elijah and Klaus being brothers wasn't a shock for me I kindda saw that coming, I don't know but I guess I thought if both of them are originals they oughta have some relation..
What did shock me was THE CURSE IS FAKE!!!! OMG but it totally makes sense and it is a very great and logical twist, I love it..,
What didn't make that much sense to me was DAMON GETTING SO UPSET I can understand why he gets angry about Stefan,ok but he knew that all along, I mean, I don't believe Elena doesn't respect him but it is normal Stefan believes that.. he is the boyfriend!
I think Damon should have been more intelligent to know that and say he's sorry, just to protect Elena or keep an eye on Elijah..or leave, if he can't stand all that.
All in all the episode was epic I didn't see all that coming... just cuz I'm a sucker, for being perfect something must happen between Damon and Elena..

SHOCKER episode. well done writers!! I think Elena will die during the sacrifice and next season she will become a vampire..maybe damon saves her, and then she'll definitely have his respect. twilight has nothing to do with vampire diaries...one sucks the other rocks :D
I have a few questions & point to throw out there:
Elijah knows how to save the doppleganger.......was Katerina 'saved' when she was turned, if so, who turned her.......Elijah? Elena never asked HOW she could be saved, or if she did, we didn't see it.....is Elijah going to try & turn Elena to save her from Klaus?
The story of Klaus & Elijah is being replayed as Stephan and Damon...IMHO. There struggle will duplicate/copy what went down with Klaus & Elijah....over Katerina/Elena.....ergo History Repeats Itself.
I'm use to the OMG moment at the end of each eppy......but this one had multiple OMGs from start to finish..........left me gasping for air!

Finally Elijah's alive(sort of)again.Klaus was 10/5.This epi was spectacular!Can't wait to find out more about the Original family and see the other five originals.I love flashbacks episodes.

OMG, what a great episode! The history and gamechanging facts were awesome! I was also soooo happy that Stefan told Damon how it is about Elena, finally. That needed to happen for Damon to hopefully get over her and move on, cause he will never have her. She belongs with Stefan.

Um Elijah…. We all thought he was bad? Yeah right you ain’t seen evil until you’ve seen KLAUS! Now you KNOW why Elena had to resurrect Elijah. BTW I do not think it was a coincidence Elijah is back from the “dead” and REAL Klaus appears for the first time on EASTER WEEK!!!! Very clever writers!! Very Clever indeed!
1st shocker - Elijah & Klaus are BROTHERS?!?!?!!? CRIKEY!!!! I guess they’re the Salvatores of the 1st century, lol… I loved their dynamic. And I am glad Elijah is back because now they have a scoop we never expected. To know Klaus like a brother knows him is a big advantage in their battle of good vs. evil.. or bad vs. badder? Also, are they the only 2 siblings to survive in that family, because as Elijah said there were 7… what happened to the other 5?
2nd shocker - The sun & moon curse is a FAKE! I guessed this so it was not as shocking, but I only guessed it like 15 minutes before they actually said it so it’

Great episode and gave a lot of insight and more depth to the characters, it wsa nice to see a different side of Jenna whose had the world crash down on her the past few episodes, and funny how Katherine pretty much reapated history with Klaus and Elijah and Damon and Stefan she really likes brothers. And Greta i almost forgot about her, i think she has every reason to hate team Elena, wasn't it Katherine and Stefan who killed her father? and Damon who burned her brother alive?

Elena does respect Damon. Stefan is so wrong there I actually sighed when he said this to Damon, cuz it was so blatantly incorrect. Elena is always asking Damon to be the better man "C'mon you're better than this....You're so close....I care about you.... Be the better man Damon....C'mon Damon, that's a lie. You care. Thankyou. for looking out for us. for me."
She believes he can be better than he is, that deep down he is good even if he doesn't realize it. And she respects the passion he has for all the things he cares about. And she also loves him-as a friend- because he was in Elena's list of loved ones to protect in her deal with Elijah.
She does respect that undercurrent goodness in him because otherwise she wouldn't be so convinced that Damon can be the better man if he just tries. And for God's sake, Damon stepped up and saved Bonnie's life, you're telling me she doesn't respect him for that??

OMG I loved this episode!! Love Elijah's character and they better not kill off Alaric as I love him too.
Interesting how they adopted the same concept (can't remember which show or book I read it from before) where the original vampires started with a large noble family, so can't wait to see what the writers come up for the explanation for this. Definitely the best epsiode to date!

This show just keeps getting better and better and better. Last nights episode was EPIC! I don't want to even try and guess what will happen in the last three episodes because the way they change the game up on this show, I won't be close to right. Can't wait though.

every part was UNREAL and they didnt even use Bonnie/Caroline or any witchy ordeal in it

OKAY ! That's IT ! This episode was just W-O-W indeed !! Definitely wins 5 stars ! I was really glad about Elijah's return ! And surprised that he loved Katerina back then... And I thought that this "feud brothers + Katerina/Elena" actually started with the Originals, didn't it? Also, Damon at the end...heartbreaking... I wonder also if Elena REALLY knows the plan that will save her... Seems to me that the person that loves her the most must die in order to save yeah, but who is it... To me, probably Damon, because like Stefan said he will "never" have her (bastard), thus his love for her grows constantly. While Stefan who actually has Elena's love, his love for her is constant... About Greta, well she seemed happy but, was is compulsion? No idea. Jenna, poor Jenna, I hope she'll join the team eventually. The curse, BS ! lool ! I felt relieved for a short moment and then BAM ! I have to say that this show was amazing. They still left a few loopholes for me like how did Katherine found out, how did Elijah and Klaus turn into vampires, who is the original petrova, and how will Alaric still be alive next episode when one of Klaus witches drain his blood to put Klaus spirit in it. I am glad for the flashbacks but my mother always called me crazy because I love how they dress back then and always dress like that for halloween.
Review was great but missed one point,elijah fell for katherine and wanted to help her but before he can do that,katherine took matters in her own hand and flew.elijah later came to know that trevor had helped her,so he killed trevor for that.he is upset with katerina coz she did not have enough trust over elijah and choose to escape instead,that's why he wants kat to pay for her deeeds.wonderful performance elijah. i was floored,take a bow!!
