Chuck says he always use a condom "take care of his business" Blair has had a pregnancy scare before in a "Thin line between Chuck and Nate" We learned Blair was not on the pill but Serena has been on the pill since 13 or 14. It could be Dorota is pregnant again but where is the fun it that?

In terms of continuity and logic, the paternity test would have to be Eleanor's and Cyrus's baby. As stated in others comments, it was probably a last minute (due to leaked scripts) decision by writers to invoke discussion, but it'll be settled in the first episode of the next season. It has to be a baby brother for Blair.
I also have to admit that the "Charlie" (Ivy) character did seemed completely surprising to me. In hindsight, the "nod" by Aunt Carol to Ivy was like:
"Have you got a target to act crazy alongside...?" "Yes.. This Dan character will do perfectly."
I think the REAL game changer (not Blair and Chuck's magnetic attraction) was the reveal of Dan book. I.e. here are some questions that you have to ask now:
1. Did Dan really love Serena or was it a membership to UES "Boobs Mcgee" society?
2. What does it mean for Derena fans?
3. Did Gossip Girl knew about Dan's continued book entries? Is that why she called Dan the "ultimate insider?" (thus, not to her but

obviously it wasn't a good thing that chuck hurt blair and cut her face when he smashed the glass, but people need to realize that no one is ALL BAD or ALL GOOD. people are complex and difficult and everyone has their demons, chuck especially. so it isn't weird that he should be portrayed as the villain in that episode and then do something lovely like give her up despite his love for her in this episode because he knows louis will make her happy.. ultimately everything chuck does bad or good, is because he loves blair, and i hope in the end they are together!

Why is Dan a wannabe? He is a writer and had this wonderful opportunity to write about these characters he met from UES.
I think it shows that he is motivated and daring.

If the pregnancy is Blair's, it will be used as a plot device to draw Chuck and Blair back together. Ultimately if she goes through with it there is no doubt in my mind the baby will be Chuck's...

That was a great mind fuck of an episode. I loved the comment about the writers copying from fan fiction!!!! Too funny, except that the writers in fan fiction have more respect for their characters that the writers of the show do.
I was hurt by the declaration of love, and then him turning him over to Luis, but I get that "If you love something, set it free....." as long as she returns to him.
I am also so confused as to the the pregnancy thing. If it was Blair's, it had better be Chuck's kid and she needs to fess up to the little french dude and hall ass back to NY. The idea it is Eleanor's cracks me up! (I hope it looks like Cyrus!)
I love that Georgie's back! I love that the troll has gone and think it's funny she stole Dan's story... I hope he has her charged!
Anyways, it will certainly give us a lot to think about this summer. I am praying no more Chair fans jump ship. We need to pull together and have faith. We all know they are the best of the entire show and will

What I don't get is how did Serena know about charlie when she was introduced and then we find out that there isn't a cousing charlie to begin with? Was this Carol's plan all along or did charlie die and carol still wants the money?

Artemis, that kid is not Dans you're kidding if you think it is!!! They would have never have had to do a 'three weeks' later sector if it was Dans, cause Blair was recently with Dan 'if they did anything' which is not proven that they did!!!!

There's no way Blair is pregnant--she's not that stupid, and neither is Serena. (Yes, it is STUPID to be having sex and not take precautions--it's up to girls to protect their own bodies).
Charlie/Ivy might have given the legal papers for the Trust to Carol, but--she also held on to at least one book of checks (they showed it in Ivy's bag), so expect her to spend some money--Carol can't say anything about it without outing herself as hiring Ivy to defraud the VDWs...
Dan--totally a wanna-be, from even before the beginning--and totally a Blair-worshipper from back then, as well. That's going to make for some fun stuff next season :)

I will be seriously PISSED if this is the end of Chuck and Blair! What is gossip girl without Chuck and Blair? They've been there since the pilot with their dark tango - do they want people to watch the show? - hint don't take away the central point of the show!

You know I should be happy with this finale, but I'm not entirely. First Blair too young to be a mother, second there's the whole "who's the father?" in which let's face it is more likely Chuck than Louis because I'm guessing she used protection with Louis while she and Chuck were impromptu and he probably didn't "handled his business" this time. As much as I would hate that the kid is Louis's I would hate even more if a Chuck's kid was passed as other man's kid, you can think what you want of Chuck and I don't approve everything that he's done but nobody deserves to loose his kid's childhood, the pregnancy and all that, specially a guy who probably wants the family he didn't had as a child, and if GG uses the resource of the 5 years forward and such I would hate it even more. Third this so not the appropiate time for them to be parents with all their issues hanging. Fourth this smells like recycled storyline, somebody here mentioned Grey's Anathomy, I don't watch Greys but I'm not sur

Not a bad finale at all... I think the pregnancy test belongs to Eleanor... Her and Cyrus are finally going to have a baby together... Either that, or Dorota is pregnant again. I don't think the test belongs to Blair.

It's Dan's baby! Chuck was busy with Rainer and Louie hadn't shown up yet. Blair was rolling on the floor with Dan, sleeping at the loft, meeting him all over town. Dan and Blair did more than kiss that night and that's why Blair wouldn't get out of bed. She slept with Dan and thought it was a mistake. Do you think Dan's going to want Chuck raising his baby?

I love this episode and I love the Chair scenes and I know Chair is not over yet. I am glad that everybody is going on vacation and I do not blame Vanessa for publishing Dan's material. Dan need to realize that it is best to be yourself and Dan was a writer, where did that go. Charlie is Ivy caught me totally off guard but only Georgiana will know when somebody is playing a game and cannot wait for Georgiana and Ivy to team up. I think the pregnancy test belongs to Blair mother and she cover it up so nobody will know.

I don't understand... so is dan's script a bad description of UPS? or something? I really hope that Dan and Serena end up together but.. it seems that dan has described Blair a better person in the script. But he said he has been working on it for 5 years and it means that he was in love with Serena when he wrote it... so how can that be happenning... can someone please explain it to me :(

Here are my thoughts about Chuck and Blair:
First of all, and I know other people have said this too but it was more apparent to me last night, it is not true that Blair was never happy with Chuck. In the first half of season 3 they had a loving, albeit unique, relationship where Blair really stood by Chuck and I think they were both happy together. I totally understand the point about bringing out the worst in each other but I don't know if that means you should settle for someone who does treat you right but you aren't in love with. And don't get me wrong I was actually starting to like Louis for Blair in the last couple of episodes but it just doesn't feel right.
Second, regarding the pregnancy, my only hesitation is that Blair is the obvious choice. And although there would be a ton of plot holes if it was someone else, plot holes are a specialty on gg. However, I do think it's Blair by Chuck and here's why. They just showed the trash can in an empty room. Blair probably
