Its their choice, not hers. With the vast majority of this country thinking the same its only a matter of time before killing babies is illegal.
I love Greys but some times the powers that be test the vast majority.

For all of you that are against Christine's choice..whatever. If she is the one to carry the kid then that is her choice not too. She told the man from day one she did not want kids it was no hidden agenda there. Frankly it is the same thing i would do if i got knocked up by my hubby. I have never wanted kids an frankly don't really like them. My problem with the preg. thing is that if she did not want kids she should have made damn sure she would not get knocked up. Sterlization would have been a good thing in her case. She is a doctor she knows better. Ok that is my two cents on that matter!

I think the season finale was great it left alot for us to ponder on for season 8.. Think about it we have alot of issues to deal with .1 being new relationships, new marriges, new chief resident and new drama within all of that.S o i think the writers did what they set out to do keep us interested...Cause i have a feeling season 8 is goin to be big really really big.

Its simple, if she didn't want kids then she either diesnt have sex or ties her tubes! Killing babies is not the answer and will cost Greys some viewers. It can work both ways - yea, Owen should have known she doesn't want kids but she should know that he does.

Der doesn't appear to know Mer has been given Zo(o)la to care for.
His last comment to Mer was' Maybe you're right, I need time to think. I need some space'. So maybe Mer has influenced him to think a little differently???
Der does bolt when confronted with big life problems e.g. Addison being unfaithful, the death of a patient due to his incompetence. Der lashes out too e.g. he has punched Mark out twice and hit Mer's engagement ring into the woods. So I'm taking comfort in the fact he's not getting drunk. He's gonna be able to avoid Mer cos she's not going to be at work, and Mer will have time to practice her mom skills.
I'm coping better than I thought I would with the MerDer SL. MerDer are gonna have to show some sort of togetherness otherwise I can't see how they can keep Zola. I'm wondering if S8 will start the day after this episode and before Cris has her abortion

Good episode. It wasn't over the top exciting, but it kept you emotionally engaged throughout.
First off, I hate the Baily romance. The guy is just smarmy. She needs someone better.
I have always hated Owen, but I sympathized with him until the very end last night. Throwing her out was ridiculous. Christina has always been very, very clear that she does not want kids. Heck, she didn't even want to get married! But he said he was fine with it, because he was always sure he would eventually get his way. HE was the one out of line, because he did not believe what she told him! And I understand Christina. She just doesn't want children. Many people don't get that, but some people don't WANT it at all. But I think she is going to lose it anyway, she seemed really sick.
McDreamy. Well, not anymore! He was so mean to Meredith. I could understand his anger. I could understand his storming off. But to zero in and go after her as a mom, when he knew it to be her greatest fear, was lo

I was very disappointed. First of all, the plane crash storyline was completely unnecessary. Instead, there should have been more dialog scenes with the other stories between Christina & Owen and Mer & Der. Seems like Shonda tried to cram way too much in too little time!!
I'm probably in the minority, but I love Alex. He screwed up after drinking too much and immediately regretted it. Who hasn't done the same? He should be chief resident.
Plus, WHAT"S UP WITH ALL THE COMMERCIALS? There was about 34 minutes of actual show and the rest was commercials.
I hope next season the writers spend more time with each storyline. Last night was like watching a tornado!
Nothing happened during last nights episode that makes me want to keep watching come Season 8. Derek appears to have left Merideth, and as we saw with Derek and Addison, once Derrek thinks he's been wronged he's gone. Committment issues, much? The icing on the cake is that Mark has given up on Lexie. Either that relationship really is done, or the writers are screwing with us by dragging the story out even longer. It's been drug out enough that i just don't care anymore. Plug the plug--Grey's is done.

Well this is for me the most disappointing season finale ever. I feel as though Shonda expended all her energy on her self indulgent musical episode. She seems to have thought that breaking up two major couples would be a fan pleaser. How many more fans are going to walk away from GA.

The only crumb of comfort I have is that Cris and Mer aren't gonna fall apart cos they're having marital problems.

Hmmmm... Emotional trauma and then some...
Mer/Der:
I don't think they are broken up, or anything. He needs time to focus and realize that even though what Mer did was wrong, she had Adele's interest at heart. I know he was doing the trial so that he can help Mer if she does get the disease, but she is selfless in that way, she would rather have saved Adele than herself. She has done those acts before and will do so. She is like a superhero in that way :)
I am glad that Richard understood his part in this and that he suspended her instead of firing her. Mer did an emotional thing, the show is about over-emotional doctors going out of their way to treat their patients. I kind of think that Shonda is creating doctors in ideal situations. Normally doctors do not care so much about patients. Der's mother was right, she doesn't see things as black and white. Der's mother needs to visit them is Season 8. Especially if Ellen and Patrick don't sign on for season 9.

OK, I want to start with MerDer. While I understand Derek's frustration and Anger with Meredith, I think he is missing a huge piece of the pussle. Meredith went through this with her mother and there was no way she was going to let someone she loves (The chief) go through what she did. Derek has no inclination of what Meredith really went through and the toll it took on her and to not even take that into consideration is awefully cold and arogant. Also, Derek sleeping in the frame of the house is so inrealistic. Doesn't it rain like 300 days out of the year is Seatle???? Very silly if you ask me. I think Cristina was way out of line making that appointment. First of all, they both just found out THAT DAY. They could have taken at least a couple days to discuss, but in true Cristina form she thought about herself first and foremost. I don't blame Ownen for being upset, but I didn't see Owne throwing Cristina out coming. Also, I think something is wrong with Cristina medically. At one po

I thought it was a good seson finale. Below are some thoughts: Owen/Christina - Owen did the correct thing - tossing her out. She is a murdering, inconsiderate twit. If she were my wife, I would do a lot more than kicking her out! He should divorce her and the next time she screws up - have her fired. Abortion is not the answer, if she doesn't want a baby them sign her parental rights away at birth. Mer/Der - they need a few days a part. The person who said he is emotionally abusive is a moron. What is it with people today, if one disagrees your either abusive or a racist. Dumb liberals! They will be fine, she commited a serious offense and can't expect him to just forgive at a moments notice. Lex/Mark - get them back together! Avery is just a spoiled, rich little player who they should have killed off in the shooting. I can't wait for next season!

I liked the episode. Yes Mer did tell Alex to get his crap out of her house. She kicked him out but that was before he helped her with the Social Worker. Alex is a jerk. Owen is gross and big fat jerk and Derek (much as I love him) is a bigger jerk then Owen. Truly hurtful and verbally abusive. No matter how mad he was. I don't like Teddy's character but I'm glad she picked Henry. He's a cutie. I miss Bailey she hasn't been in it enough. I loved how Richard realized he pushed Meredith to help Adele. Love Meredith talking to Zola, really cute. All in all a good, low key episode. I've rooted for MER/DER for years, but frankly his holier thean thou crap is old and I'm not sure I care if he's with Meredith anymore. She deserves to be treated better.

I almost started crying when Derek said that to Meredith! and when she brought home baby zola and no one was there, but she talked about how the two of them were tough and they were gonna be ok, I did start crying!
I am very disapointed in christina though. I really really hope she doesn't terminate the baby that would be awful!!
I'm so sick of the Mark/Lexie story line. It feels like its always the same. Mark lets Lexie go, she finds someone else and says she is happy, then Lexie comes back to Mark. OMG Shonda have Mark find a new love interest already!!!
So many things have NOT been wrapped up!! I can't wait until the next season!!

I understand Owen's line of thinking, but I truly believed that his only way of feeling like she considered him in the decision would have been for her to keep the baby. There were really only two choices, and one belonged to Owen and the other to Christina. In the end it's her call. I truly do think she considered his feelings, and that he didn't consider hers or the future potential baby's feelings. Honestly if Christina ends up keeping the baby I will be pretty angry. She does not want, and hopefully will never want to have a child. Some women just don't.
I have never truly liked Derek. There were times when I was fond of him, but I always found him to be close-minded, unforgiving, and unapologetic. He is allowed to make multiple mistakes, but he rarely forgives Meredith. Did he deserve to be angry? Of course. Did calling her a bad mother help anything? Definitely not. He speaks in the heat of the moment, and sometimes I wish Meredith would hold him to his mistakes a little more.

Has anybody else noticed that throughout the past few seasons lately that even though Cristina and Meredith are basically sisters and their friendship is a huge bond that they share and it's amazing and all that, but Cristina puts Owen before Meredith? I don't know if it's just me, but Cristina always seems to go for Owen over Meredith. I know Meredith can do the same with Derek sometimes, but Cristina really has been relying on Owen the past three seasons and keeping Meredith out. I know that they're both married and that their partners come first, but from my prespective, Meredith would choose Cristina over Derek, but the question is: Would Cristina choose Meredith over Owen?

Everyone's getting it all wrong. Cristina doesn't want to have a baby. It's not that she doesn't want it to interfere with a career. It's that she doesn't want to be a mother. Did no one listen to any of the dialogue between them throughout the whole episode? Motherhood requires more than time and space, and some people just don't want to give all that it requires. Owen says they should make the decision "as a couple," but only as long as they make the decision that HE wants, not taking into account that Cristina simply doesn't want to be a mother. I love Cristina and hope she makes a choice that makes her happy instead of what would make Owen happy. I'm really over Owen, for this and a lot of other reasons (also how he treated Alex, and how he handled Meredith's situation).
As for Meredith, she didn't kick Alex out (to the person who wrote this review). I'm furious that Alex did what he did, especially considering that he was ALSO breaking rules by coercing that patient fo

Richard and Meredith: I love that Richard tried to be fatherly when figuring out if Meredith messed with the trial. I loved the way he said "Meredith, look at me" and tried to get her to open up. I loved it even more when he realized that she put her career on the line to help his wife. He wanted to thank her, and did in his way, but could not publicly condone her actions.
