Mos Def is joining the cast of Dexter.

The hip hop star, whose acting career includes a recent guest-starring gig on House, will appear on multiple episodes of the Showtime hit as an ex-con who claims to have found religion.

Still, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the character will constantly be in the middle of violence and will eventually be outed in some way by Dexter himself.
