Private Practice Promo: "God Bless the Child"

by at . Comments

On next week's episode of Private Practice, entitled "God Bless the Child," a second trip to the ER sparks concern for Betsey (Dell's daughter). Worried about well-being, the doctors launch an investigation into her new foster family.

In doing so, of course, they risk sending the poor thing back into the system.

Meanwhile, with Audra McDonald poised to exit stage left, Naomi makes a major, life changing decision, and a struggling Amelia slips further away from sobriety.

i think betsey will end up w/ addison, and maybe sam will have a change of heart and join the two. i am curious to see whether violet is going to lose her license...

I think it's about time that Addison lashed out against Naomi! I know that her relationship with Sam was a big deal but the way that Naomi's been hypocritical about it makes her deserve a taste of her own medicine. For me, that kiss she had with Sam was just a way of her wanting to prove that she will always have something deeper with him even if she has no feelings for him anymore. I also like how they're bringing Betsey back because that was an open ending from before. I want to see what conclusion they come up with for this. I don't think they can bring it to themselves to put her back in the system but at the same time who will step up this time. Should be interesting!

I agree with everything spindae says haha. I also hope that addison gets betsey somehow. Just to add. His name is Fife (like the flute) not five. Not to seem like a butthole or anything, but I totally get that his name is difficult to pronounce or hear. =)

i love the fact that they are bringing Betsey back! First because her story wasn't finished properly, secound because they forgot about Del the moment that last Betsey ep was shown! Del was the soul of this practice and his dead didn't left any side effects, come on! For Naomi going psycho, I never liked her blind justice thing! No one can make a mistake you always must be completly moral etc; but she jumps in bed with Five while being in a relationship with wayat(or how his name was)! I think that's a part of her personalit which should been handeld properly! Hope by the end of the season the V! Story comes to an end, they pulled it off!

I think Addison is lashing out towards Naomi because of the way she's been treating her recently over the whole Sam thing.
As for Betsey, I think she'll be taken away from her foster parents (and the show) when Naomi leaves and Naomi will raise her.
I read somewhere that Betsey is in final episode of season 4 too. So she'll be in it for two episodes. :D

Private Practice Quotes

You ever been violated? Anybody rape you lately? Let me tell you what its like. You know those made for TV movies where some woman's crouched down naked in a shower holding her knees and sobbing because when she closes her eyes she can still feel the guys hands on her? How when they show the attack the woman's eyes go all blank and still and she goes to some other place in her mind just to deal with the horror of what's happening to her while some Lillith Fair song plays. It is nothing like that. He's sturdy and sweaty and he licks your face and wipes himself off in your hair and when you try to scream he punches you so hard you see God. And then he goes at you again reaping stuff you didn't even know you had because he enjoyed it so much the first time. I know you're trying to help but if helping me means that everyone is gonna be looking at me the way you're looking at me now please do not help me.

Charlotte

Charlotte: My mom always says God doesn't give with both hands. You're young, beautiful, brilliant. There has to be something you can't have.
Amelia: Some days I'd give that all up.
Charlotte: That's just the craving talking. The longer you go without a drink...
Amelia: I drank at your wedding. I thought it was ginger ale. I spit it out.
Charlotte: OK, since then?
Amelia: Nothing, but I can't stop thinking about it.
Charlotte: It was an accident. Don't let a slip turn into a fall. Get your butt to a meeting.
