If Damon dies then the tv series would have lost one of the best character and it will lose the meaning and interest to all the fans.Its like the prison break losing micheal scofield it cant be interesting anymore.

well lemme jst say something....DAMON DOES NOT DIE!!! cheer up people and its quiet obvious he's not gonna die coz if he does die then no one will watch the show again, coz its gunna be boring and yeh elina saves him..... she kisses him and tells him she loves him then catherine comes and tells elina that elina shouodnt worry because catherine used to love both the brothers too and so catherine gives the blood to elina and elina feeds damon and then damon goes back to normal... HAPPY?

Every show needs a daring Damon without such a character the show would have no daring character to make the bad choices and mistakes that we love so much besides someone has to do it without him the show would be kinda boring.

if damon dies i wil ever watch another episode fof vampire diaries it will suck.. may haves something to do with my high hopes of elena and damon but no he cant die or im no longer a fan

if damon dies your show will be boring..it wont be interesting anymore..it will be,just like other shows...your show will be predictable...a cliche..*O*

If Damon dies then I quit Vampire Diaries forever...He's the only reason I watch Vampire Diaries. He's such an important element to the show...without him it would be just like Twilight and do we really need Twilight movies and a show? No thanks! Please please please don't kill Damon off!!

If Damon dies I will be highly pissed at the show. Damon was the best thing that made this show better than Twilight. The fact that he is willing to take the risk to do whats right in a brutal way. He is and will always be Stefan's rival (with brotherly love to it)Dx don't kill him off give him to me to put in my closet at least. Q.Q

Damon is the whole reason I watch Vampire Diaries. If he dies... my interest in watching the show dies with him.

Damon dies the show is over, period. Stefan is good but the show is about two brothers and a girl. The is nothing like the book, i do have some ideas about whats going to happen. Plus there is goig to be a season three, so theres one hint, in the book damon has the wolf form going for him, hint two. And in a spolier Nina(elena) gave out she said Damon thinks hes dying and that we have to tune in to see who does save Damon. Cant wait till tomorrow.

If they kill Damon off, I'm DONE with this show /: As hard as that is gonna be, I am ! What sense does it make to watch it if Damon isn't in it ! It won't be fun ! Damon gives Vampire Diaries that, "umpfh" lol. SAVE DAMON SALVATORE !

Damon will not die. It is too risky for the show.He is the reason most people watch it. Well..my reason anyway. I am sure they will leave us wanting more..much more!

Truthfully, if Vampire Diaries Julie Plec and writers kill off Ian (DAMON) I will be taking my thursdays
and doing other things that are more important than viewing this show: I wont be all that interested in watching the show without Damon.
It's pretty annoying when people you like get killed off a show. Most of the cast is getting killed off. Hated Elijah for backing out of his promise. He gave his word. He's no longer honorable. Can't stand him; Klaus can go too. Not enjoying these originals they should have died already it is ridiculous

Vampire Diaries needs Damon Salvatore and I NEED DAMON TOO: I want to see Elena and Damon on screen with chemistry on the set oozing out of them like they are like fire and gasoline.
Also love Katherine and Stefan together: Stefan needs a dark side: Hate his good side.The show needs Katerina and Damon3

As for Damon, I am sure he'll return season 3: Suspense is good for viewers: It was tragic for Elena to lose so many people close to her.I was happy when that boyfriend of hers offered to sacrifice his life for Jenna but Klaus wasn't interested in his life. Downer!!! As for Elena, Damon's obsession with her is becoming boring especially since she is clearly not interested in him. Shes a witch any way why die for her?. He should dump her and move on to some hotter chick.

I've been reading these comments above and I do agree that Damon brings excitement to the show where as Stefan and Elena have become dull. Julie Plec must be keeping us all guessing: Damon most likely will die but return as human that way Elena recalls what he had compelled her to forget:
that scene where he's being unselfish with her because he loves her: She wants and longs to have a family to live her life: Stefan will realize Damon is better off with Elena and pulls away clearing the way for their love to flourish when Damon returns as a human and Stefan realizes he can give Elena the life she wants. Also, Katherine will prove she came back for Stefan because she loves him and she starts to show a little humanity herself: The End And eventually they kill Klause and Elijah.
