The Secret Circle

It's one of our most anticipated new shows of the fall and, having seen the pilot of The Secret Circle, I can confidently say: CW fans will not be disappointed.

What is this show about, aside from witches and the supernatural? Over the next few weeks, we'll be taking readers inside The Secret Circle, providing background on various characters to get you as excited for the series as we are.

First up: Cassie Blake.

Played by: Britt Robertson.
Character traits: Tough, independent. When we first meet her, Cassie is changing her own tire. She scoffs at her mother's offer to help.
Possible love interest: Adam Conant (Thomas Dekker).
Why you'll love her: She's the new girl in school and also the new girl in a long-established coven of witches. But she neither hides from either predicament, nor does she run blindly into any situation. Cassie is thoughtful, rational, curious and possesses an inner fortitude that helps her deal with the death of a loved one and will clearly come into play as the series continues.
