Mercedes Masohn, Maddie Hanson Cast on The Finder

Mercedes Masohn, who Chuck fans are quite familiar with, and newcomer Maddie Hanson have both joined the cast of Fox's Bones quasi-spin-off, The Finder.

Masohn has landed the series regular role of Isabel Zambada, a Deputy U.S. Marshal and with a “vigorous friends with benefits” relationship with Walter.

Walter (the title character, played by Geoff Stults) and his unorthodox methods could be a liability to Isabel's all-consuming quest to become Attorney General.

Hasson, meanwhile, gets the series regular role of Willa, a “manipulative, cynical and extremely bright” girl born into a family of criminals, according to TV Line.

Currently on parole, the teen is committed to helping Walter and Leo (Michael Clarke Duncan), making her an interesting right-hand gal for the partners in crime-fighting.

The two casting moves will fill the void left by Saffron Burrows, who appeared in this spring’s backdoor pilot episode of Bones, but is not continuing with the series.

The Finder is set to premiere in January.
