ok this is kindof exciting, you can't have the last season without the lead actor. i just hope they don't have lucas leaving peyton and sawyer because that would suck!!! c'mon! can't wait for this season now!!!

Hilarie Burton is currently signed on with White Collar and hence might likely not be committed to now appear on another Network such as the CW. But an analogy is like Michael Rosenbaum's non-spoken word to never appear on Smallville which he eventually did in the final. And thanks to the support and death threats from fans, they managed to get him back.

@moviefreak is right if peyton won't come back it is pointless for lucas to return and for what- one episode? if they both won't appear and make things right again like they used to be then the OTH I loved ended with them going away- there is hope if they come back but now when you say hilarie won't come back( is it official?) I just stopped looking forward to seeing the last season

That makes me happy! He was the heart and soul of the show! He interacted with everyone and had such a great evolution! Hope they do a proper storyline with him! He diserves it! It would be perfect if P.S. Could appear to but for start he is enough!
Can't wait to watch it! ;)

Why isn't hilarie burton returning?!
Has this been made official?
She has to come back too..
Otherwise lucas can stay wherever the hell he is..
