Ripper Reminiscing: The Vampire Diaries to Flashback
Last night, The Vampire Diaries took us into the woods, as Klaus attempted to make his own army and Stefan came to his brother's rescue.
Next Thursday, meanwhile, the show will take u back to Chicago in the 1920s. As teased in the following promo, Klaus will be looking to awaken the true ripper inside his road trip teammate, while Caroline will be dealing with her own problem in the present day: a vampire-hating father who wants to fix his daughter.

What shocked me in this promo is the scene between Caroline and her father. Pretty scary stuff right there. Looking forward to this flashback though! I'm relatively enjoying this version of Stefan just because his passive self in the earlier seasons was a bore.

Just like G-Lin said Caroline's and Taylor's romance is very shakespearean....And what does her dad mean by 'fixing' her?! Can vampires be reversed?!
Oh, I'm totally loving ripper Stefan more than the passive one we endured last season!!!

Caroline's Dad to fix her, I see chains, and letting sunlight on her...
I kind of see a 'Day-breakers'-turning-Vampire-back-human thing.
Lets hope they don't try to reproduce it in TVD

i agree!! i once decided to stop watching this show. but a ripper Stefan and Caroline/Tyler's relationship have brought me back!! so don't let her die!! and show us more of this side of Stefan's. it's so interesting!!!

Caroline CANNOT die!!! i waiting this season xo Badly just to see carol n tay romance. vampire-human or werewolf-human is xo an ordinary BUT vampire-werewolf is EPIC! its like ROMEO n JULIET version at their world. Please kep her ALIVE!!

I know Stefan is important but why no one is here to help Caroline? Ok ok no one knows she's missing but still. Even if Tyler will probably save her, I would love to see the other also try. She deserves it!
She's getting out of this so I don't like it and I am not sure her dad can "fix" vampires but it's a good idea and knew twist that I like.

VD is getting hotter! First I love Clair Holt and can't wait to see her! Second my poor beautiful Caroline who will save U, while Damon and Elena hunt Stefan! hoping for Bonnie to kick ass!
