The Vampire Diaries Promo: "The Hybrid"
After a predictably tremendous star to the third season, The Vampire Diaries takes a darker turn next week as Klaus attempts to execute the plan to enhance his power. But will things go the way he expects?
Speaking of unintended consequences, Alaric and Damon hesitantly go along with Elena's search for Stefan - you didn't really think she'd give up that easily, did you? - but all may end up in grave danger.
On the romance front, Caroline desperately needs Tyler's help. On the bromance front, Jeremy asks for Matt's assistance to find out what his recurring ghost visions want from him.

Yay, Klaus!
It looks like a real action episode - gotta be good. No so Elena-centric as "Birthday". Werewolves, hybrids, good vampires...

Bored now. S3 premier was not good. Poor TVD fans are going to suffer for KW's attentions going to The Secret Circle. The editing, storyline, and scene continuity was unbelievably bad and next week isn't looking much better.
3 is when the budgets jump and, boy, oh boy, is TVD not looking great for all the changes - sets, styling, now the characters can all start wearing couture. This Nielsen household is tuning out.
