I literally find the show impossible to watch at this point because of Violet. What concerns me is that Violet's narcissism always seems defended and rewarded by the show writers, which makes me wonder if they don't recognize the extreme narcissism or that it's appropriate. It's just crazy to me.

Maybe you should make a page dedicated to Violet after you stop reading this blog. OR we could try a Violet Awesome-ness Scale and everyone could give her 0s every week. At least with the original scale, your favorite character is getting high numbers :]

A great idea VAS, is amazing and appropriate, accept that Violet is a totally self-absorbed and egotistical, annoying but so much fun for his selfishness. What a great idea

Violet Annoyance Scale? That's it, this is the last time I'm coming back to this site. One thing is critisizing her alongside other characters, but when you specifically create a scale for it, that is basically a big SCREW YOU to her fans. I try to imagine how people would act if it had been precious Addie who got an annoyance scale. I imagine the reviewer would have been immediately fired from their position as episode reviewer for this show.

VAS is great idea! I personally can't wait for next episode seeing what VAS it will have :)
Anyway this was intense episode. Char is my favorite so i kind of missed her, but there was too much heavy stuff going on. Amelia and her friend storyline was so sad. Addison was insane. Violet didn't bother me surprisingly(VAS 5)and Cooper and Mason was the best part of the episode! But Mason's mother is a bitch!

Loved this episode but damn that was freaking heartbreaking. The psychophrenic son and his mother was heartbreaking enough but to add in Amelia euthanizing her friend just topped off the emotions. And Caterina's performance was amazing. Great episode, I gotta say I loved the small walk through cameo from Courtney Cox and Christa Miller, so made me miss CougarTown.

@ale and @Voland91 - I appreciate your feedback, but I believe you've misunderstood the purpose of a review. It's my opinion on the episode, so it ought to be a subjective (not objective) portrayal. I'm allowed to have a point of view just as you are allowed to share your opinions.

You guys must be new to the site because the reviews are all opinion pieces. If you want a laundry list of what happened, go to the recaps/episodes etc. If the writer didn't have a voice then it'd be a helluva boring piece to read! Personally I used to be a Violet fan, but I'll call it like it is and agree she's been annoying. VAS rating: 8!

i love amelias storyline this episode. and i love love her and sheldons friendship that he was sort of there for herr and he is the only one who cares. well that is what it looks like ! very emotional. almost made me cry. and addison was funny with hormone thing it gave it a good laughh.

for the person who write this review!! have you ever considered that there are violet fans who visit this website to read the reviews that once upon a time were objective and narrate what happened on the show. I think you need to remainded that reviews arent opinion articles...and all you have been doing since last season is bitching about violet and writing your opion instead of saying whats happening on the show!! you are making me not wanting to visit this site anymore, you reviews are getting more stupid than ever.

Haha, VAS. That's so accurate. Last episode was 10, this one 6.
Another thing that annoyed me was Addison. She was turbo annoying. She normaly acts so mannered, but this time it was just ubearable.
Cooper and Mason was the only good thing about the episode.

Poor Amelia! Most interesting story by far. And I'm loving Jake too - more than Sam. Private practice is definitely turning around! Much better than last season!! Violet - meh. I hope they start including Charlotte in the Cooper storyline - she just makes me happy, and definitely Charlotte needs to help Amelia out (and I'd love it if Derek made an appearance too!)

Amelia blight me, going downhill, Michelle should not have asked for assisted suicide Amelia. Violet if it is too annoying and I would give it a 6 on the scale and it is AddiSam must end their relationship.
