We need more moments like when Damon was trying to apologize to Elena and then he went home, had a drink of MM, took off his lapis lazuli, and faced the sun! We need more love triangle and less bs.

I disagree, Damon and Elena both have acted helpless this season. I would be looking to renegotiate my contract if they were gonna make me a secondary player. Few people tune in solely to see what Alaric, Jeremy, and Bonnie are doing this week. If Bookelena is a tramp then I say bring on some tramp. TVD has too many characters that no one cares very much about. Increase ratings---more Delena!

urghh, seriously does anyone understand the meaning of the word SERIES!! there telling us a story week by week not giving us all the answers on a plate. Which is what its like in most series' I'M SURE ALL WILL BE REVEALED IN THE NEXT EPISODE!!!
NITPICKING IS WHAT RUINED LOST FOR SO MANY PEOPLE DON'T RUIN TVD BY DOING THE SAME JUST GO WITH IT, WATCH IT, ENJOY IT AND WAIT FOR THE NEXT BLOODY EPISODE!!

While I agree that plenty of the ghost storylines left tons of plotholes, at the end of the day i cant complain because we FINALLY get some closure on Anna's character. I get that tons of characters have died on TVD abruptly, but in all honestly Anna was the one character that really didn't deserve to go for the sole fact that there were plenty of storylines left for her.
She never really got closure with her mother after so many years of trying to bring her out of the tomb and then they get separated again, it was just heartbreaking. So whether or not this episode was bizarre and confusing (i love Mason but his return was POINTLESS), i cannot complain because i finally have closure on Anna and Pearl and feel relieved for them. Although, i really do wish they couldve found a way to just keep Anna around for good because her and Jeremy have DYNAMITE chemistry unlike Jeremy and boring Bonnie who really couldnt have broken up any sooner, terrible forced couple.

@Marissa, the thing about that is Anna is not gone for good. Her foothold to the physical world was Jeremy, while the other ghosts only got through because of the huge gap connecting the worlds. Jeremy made sure to ask her if she would still be around before giving the necklace away, and she responded that can be still be around.

am I the only one who didn't feel bad for Jeremy?
Also if a witch is able to get stronger on the otherside wy can't Lexi have her new powers. I feel many people are just nitpicking.
I mean annoying transitions? TVD's transitions never makes sense you know with not following a timeline. until fans start bitching about it.

First off why is people bitching over what Lexi did.
Maybe she always could do that as there wasn't a flashback to full blown ripper Stefan (as Lexi and Stefan first meeting, Stefan wasn't full blown just baby vamp ripper).
Her other appearance is when she was visiting humanity Stefan so she wouldn't refer to that.
Stop bitching go with the flow as I don't know when any of her appearances would the writers could have discussed this so it was brought up tonight.

I loved this episode and i loved seeing all the ghost again.there are only 2 things that i want to know and they are what happened to katherine and how can lexi do what she did to stefan.i loved the part where jeremy said that he loved anna and she's always been the one that he loved but she told him that she was holding him back and even though she loves him to then she gave him the necklace even though she would be gone for good.i liked seeing lexi again and actually seeing her try and bring stefan back and i think it will be interesting to see elena try and bring him back on her own now.seeing mason again was nice even though i didna't like him but it was cool finding out that his family knew of a weapon that could kill klaus.i liked the part at the end where alaric saw the writting and had know idea what it said cause it was in some different language.when anna said that she took the necklace only because she wanted to find her mom so she wouldn't be alone anymore and i felt so bad

First off DE has had too much screen time just like Forwood had and tonight it was time to give us fans who don't necessarily enjoy them in scenes (as I don't like them together as there is no depth to DE for me to see them romantic).
Um Damon has alot emotional problems too, so how is a more suitable romantic lead than Stefan?
Also Book Elena is a big tramp, and I am quite lost as to why either brother would want her unfaithful ass. So thank god the writers haven't gone that route for DE as I don't buy Elena's love for either brother in the books. Book Elena loves herself.

Damon seems to have been relegated to a secondary character this season and I find that to be disturbing. The secondary characters and plots should support the story arch of the three main characters, Damon, Elena, and Stephan. All stories should reflect back to them on some level, or we lose the purpose of the story. The writers did an excellent job of this in season 1 and a fair job in season 2 but this season has been a disappointment.

Season 3 is really disappointing me. Can't we spend more than 20 seconds every other episode exploring the possibility of a relationship for Damon and Elena. We get more action from them in the books than we have in the series! Stephan is an appealing character but he has too many emotional problems to be a romantic lead. Obviously many of the fans are chomping at the bit to see more of Delena so the question is...why haven't we?!? Exploring their relationship would certainly do more for ratings than contrived plots for long dead characters that get resolved by a Bonniespell every week. Delena.....please!!

From what I gathered Lexi utilised some sort of ghost ability that drained the blood from the veins and pulmonary system. I'm thinking back to my Supernatural 101 for this information; more research is needed.

Can somebody please refresh my memory and tell me why everybody was such a bitch to Jeremy about Anna? Maybe it's because we viewers have the luxury of fully hearing Anna's side and I know I definitely prefer her over Bonnie but I feel like I've forgotten something that explains all that animosity.
I really hope they bring her back, I really, really like her character. If nothing else, she's a beautiful example of how no matter how old a vampire is, they still retain the emotions of their age. She was a scared, lonely teenage girl and I was hoping for more Jeremy/Anna. They're a better ship than Jeremy/Bonnie at the moment.

What happened to katherine after micheal bit her? I loved this episode, having anna,lexie, mason back. Mason and damon were great and funny.glad lexie and elena are helping stefan and that elena gave stefan an ultimatum.

I agree. I was disappointed with this episode. The reveal at the end made sense to me because, as werewolves, the Lockwoods would know about vamp history, making an Orignal the biggest and baddest game to hunt. Makes sense they would find a way to kill an Orignal. However, Barbieklaus and Tyler should've been in this episode. And the Fell murder better be addressed. No way would an incident like that be swept under the rug in such a small town. I'm looking forward to next weeks episode from the preview and can only hope it will live up to my expectations.

WHAT HAPPENED TO KATHERINE??? Was that addressed, other than Damon saying something about Mikael not working out?
Also, I really liked Anna and Jeremy, sad to see her go, but there were some definite things left out, like what happened after Damon was burned from the sun? How was Lexi doing whatever she was doing?

I really enjoyed this episode. Kudos to the writers who keep it interesting and intriguing every week. This episode actually connected the whole ghost story line. They came back for reasons. Without Mason we wouldn't know the Original history and without Lexi we wouldn't be on our way to have Stefan back. Im also glad Caroline used her Vampire power which she hardely ever does. And it showed us that even though they live in a supernatural life, they still have the same hurt and disappointment any relationship has.
